The demo dervish
Demo for dervish/monk, not demolition
requires only nightfall for full benefit
This is a pve build, in pvp chances are you would have... quite a few problems.
for this build you want somewhere around 300 health in the end
attributes
11+1+3 mysticism
12 protection prayers
rest of the points with a +3 to windprayers.
Then like do whatever you want to lose health.
Weapons sets:
Most preferred, the mod "halves casting protection spells by 50%" 20% chance. Or the mod with the 20/20 for cast and recharge of protection spells.
Just be careful with the ones that also reduce recharge time, make sure you don't activate it before the first one ends.
Faithful Intervention
Enchantment Spell. If damage drops your Health below 50%, Faithful Intervention ends. When Faithful Intervention ends, you are healed for 30...126 Health.
5 Energy 2 Activation 20 Recharge
pious renewal
Elite Enchantment Spell. For 8 seconds, whenever an Enchantment ends on you, you gain 2 Energy and 10 Health.
5 Energy ¼ Activation 3 Recharge
Pious Restoration
Spell. Lose one Enchantment. You gain 30...78 health(this will depend on how many points in it), if you are still under the effects of an Enchantment lose 2 hexes.
5 Energy ¼ Activation 4 Recharge
Protective Spirit
Enchantment Spell. For 19 seconds, target ally cannot lose more than 10% max Health due to damage from a single attack or Spell.
10 Energy ¼ Activation 5 Recharge
Guardian
Enchantment Spell. For 5 seconds, target ally has 44% chance to "block" attacks.
5 Energy 1 Activation 2 Recharge
Mending Touch
Spell. Touched ally loses two Conditions and is healed for 51 Health for each Condition removed in this way.
5 Energy ¾ Activation 4 Recharge
Reversal of Fortune
Enchantment Spell. For 8 seconds, the next time target ally would take damage, that ally gains that amount of Health instead, maximum 67.
5 Energy ¼ Activation 2 Recharge
Rebirth
Spell. Resurrect target party member. Target party member is returned to life with 25% Health and zero Energy, and is teleported to your current location. All of target's skills are disabled for 4 seconds. This Spell consumes all of your remaining Energy.
10 Energy 6 Activation
This build is pretty good for everything
-if you are getting a lot of conditions, use mending touch, not only do you lose 2 conditions, but gain up to 102 health.
-hexes giving you problems, poius restoration, heals and gets rid of 2 hexes. I recommend removing guardian, it only has a 2 second recharge and the damage you take in its recast time shouldn't be that bad. You have faithful intervention to back you up. Poius renewal is also ok to remove if it is recharge do to the 1/4 second cast time.
-protective spirit is great espcially with around 300 health, maximum of 30 damage is pretty great.
-poius renewal will give you net energy from your 5 energy enchantments, as well as minor health gain.
-use reversal of fortune to heal yourself
-rebirth fallen comrads after the battle is finished, or if you have to flee and come back.
one note of caution
If somehow, a well of profane goes up (which probably will be a lot in nightfall) quickly run out of it, but don't lose the aggro if you have it. Simply get out of it's range, since your enchants ended, you will be back to health and energy, but you have 300 hp about, so you need to get out of the well quickly to get up more reversal of fortunes and protective spirits, and all the rest of your enchantments.

only problem i could see with this u might come into a small problem when it comes to keep others alive. it would be fien for keeping u alive. and need to rememeber not everyone on your team will have the same health as u will.
P.S. i would love to see some one try to pvp with this

actually it really wasn't suppose to keep others alive, only bring them back. It was kind of a heal tank build so even if the normal tank falls (perhaps monk ran out of energy) you will bring strong enough to hold the front line. Heck even if there wasn't a tank you still do well. Damage is little to none, but it appears to be hard to die if used correctly.
Pvp with this would be intresting in places like random arenas, when a specfic build would almost be needed, although a spell bane mesmer can give you grief *one reason i wanted this for pve since monks and help if you get in trouble for a moment*
still anyway good luck with your other dervish builds nyx, espcially a d/mesmer

ok far enough so bascily its a tank/resser set to take blows and piss of foes.
still would love to see anyone try to run this welll in RA. and from looks of it the D/Me is going to be a pain. i'm leaning to a enchanment ripper or should i say reaper build for that atm.

how's it useless? I meant it for it to be a tank.. for pve... it would rock, handles hexes conditions and damage all on it's own.

Tanks still need to do damage.
Take my PvE conviction Tank: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10053402
Mine focuses more on armor then heals and enchantment effects.
However if you got a partner you could farm a place with this.
