Another Dervish build Ive been playing with :D
Malicious Renewal
Hello fellow Dervish users, Ive been playing around with my Dervish and I have found another strong combination that combines powerful selfhealing, attacking, and speed as well.
I would greatly appreciate some feedback on my build, comments, criticism, and compliments are welcome.
Dervish/Assassin
Mysticism: 10 (9+1)
Scythe Mastery: 16 (12+4)
Earth Prayers: 10 (9+1)
Wearying Strike (Scythe Mastery)
If this attack hits, you deal +33 damage and inflict a Deep Wound for 10 seconds. You suffer from Weakness for 10 seconds.
Energy:5 Cast:0 Recharge:2
Signet of Malice (Assassin None)
For each Condition suffered by target foe, you lose one Condition.
Energy:0 Cast:0.25 Recharge:5
Victorious Sweep (Scythe Mastery)
If this attack hits, you deal +33 damage. If the target foe has less health than you, you gain 83 health.
Energy:5 Cast:0 Recharge:4
Pious Haste (Mysticism)
For 8 seconds, you move 25% faster. When this stance ends, you lose 1 enchantment.
Energy:5 Cast:0 Recharge:12
Vital Boon (Earth Prayers)
For 20 seconds, you have +80 maximum health. When this enchantment ends, you are healed for 158 health.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:8
Pious Renewal [Elite] (Mysticism)
For 8 seconds, whenever an Enchantment ends on you, you gain 1 energy and 7 health.
Energy:5 Cast:0.25 Recharge:3
Signet of Pious Light (Earth Prayers)
Lose 1 enchantment. Target ally is healed for 90 health. If an enchantment was removed in this way, this signet recharges immediately.
Energy:0 Cast:1 Recharge:20
Resurrection Signet ()
Resurrect target party member. That party member is returned to life with 100% Health and 25% Energy. You may use this Signet only once per mission.
Energy:0 Cast:3 Recharge:0

Ima go test it really quick, seeing as how i now have pious renewal. bbl to update
EDIT: whats the point of pious renewal, the return on it is crap. you only have 2 enchants, and that's including pious. I like the weary/SoM concept ^^. Try pure scythe and earth and see what you come up with

wearying strike + signet of malice is a good combo. Not too stoked about the rest of your build though =P

Pious Renewal is a waste of (elite) slot in this build because of low mysticism & no end-effect enchantments (except for vital boon) which means you will loose energy by casting it (too short duration to use it as a energy buffer).
I would exchange it for [skill]Aura of Thorns[/skill] or [skill]Grenth's Fingers[/skill] (so you can combo it with Pious Haste for runners).
Signet of malice is a nice add, its on a 5s recharge which means you will use Wearying Strike every 5 seconds.
Maybe Signet of Pious Light -> Faithful Intervention (depends how often you use signet)
And maybe Pious Haste for [skill]Harrier's Haste[/skill] (by taking away one point of mysticism & one from scythe mastery which should give 7/8s run boost) ,that means you dont remove vital boon or Faithful Intervention just because the stance ended.
All I can think of the moment but you havent said what you want to use the build for (I guess RA since you got res signet & Signet of Pious Light).

your build is called malicious renewal... and your not using malicious strike which synergizes well with wearying strike?

I don't see another worthwhile elite to replace pious with, I don't know what other elite besides the blind elite, I think its called ebon dust aura, if you want to use malicious strike, go ahead, I'm not forcing victorious sweep on you.
I'm thinking of a air/earth hybrid atm, more suited for pvp maybe 16 scythe, 8 air, 9 earth, 9 myst using grenths grasp and pious renewal, I cant unlock it yet though, so Ill have to try tomorrow.

as per above... nice combo, weary strike > SoM
If you plan to have ench on, then convition usually is a nice skill, since you are already going to earth
ebon dust aura as you mentioned is a nice skill as well... or i would just pick crippling sweep...

Yeah, I always switch out for Conviction in pve, and btw I do have another build, and its works quite well in killing in pvp. I really want to try this in gvg but I don't know how well it would work, the build even has hex removal now, and retains the damage while gaining cripple.
Question is, should I post it in here or post it up in a new thread?
