Default Earth Prayers/Beast Mastery

There's been alot of argument over whether dervish and ranger go together. Mostly because lots of people want to use apply poison with a scythe. I used to do this, but without the right build it's not that helpful. They're right, it's costly and time consuming. However I am working on something new for a D/R or the other way around (it doesn't use primary attributes, so you could use the same build for either...just decide which armor you like better and whether you want to stand back and shoot or get in the action).

Basically, it's the combination of earth prayers enchantments and symbiotic bond. Both you and your pet have regen and you're splitting whatever damage the pet takes (which is easy to soak with your EP regen up). The armor and fighting style of a ranger are probably better just because if you both get hit at the same time, you're taking an extra 50% damage (not that that's a problem with mystic regen up). The only reason I would say to use dervish as the primary is that my earth prayers is at 13 right now, and I'm not sure how well it would hold up any less than that.

Some opinions?

This is more just for fun than anything else, because I like running around with a pet.

Hmm...

Beast Mastery
Earth Prayers
No points into any primary attribute?

Energy Regen for Dervish is 4 pips, 3 pips for Ranger, there is a difference.

Weapon Mastery (Bow or Scythe) is minimal or 0.

Your skill bar will contain:

Charm Animal
Comfort Animal
Symbiosis
Dervish Enchantment
Dervish Enchantment
Dervish Enchantment
Dervish Enchantment
Rez Signet

Now sub 1 enchantment for a pet attack. One of these skills will be an elite I'm guessing.

Honestly, I don't see how good this would work. Low damage, enchantments can be easily removed (no defenses).

If you are using your pet to do damage, then drop 2 or 3 enchantments and get pet attack skills. Symbiosis starts to be useless if you lose your enchantments.

No, I'm not using symbiosis. I'm using symbiotic bond: "Shout. For 120...264 seconds, your animal companion gains 1...3 health regeneration, and half of all damage dealt to your animal companion is redirected to you."

Right now it's:
Charm Animal
Heal as One (though I'm probably going to swap that for something else, because with all the regen we haven't been close to needing it)
Symbiotic Bond
Mystic Regen
Vital Boon
Faithful Intervention (stays on the whole time and doesn't cost anything to maintain...even with nothing in Mysticism, it acts as an automatic boost to my mystic regen total)
Mystic Sweep (more use for the extra enchantments)
Victorious Sweep (taking advantage of the boost from vital boon)

EP is at 13, Beast Mastery is at 10, Scythe mastery is at 12. The bird does almost the damage I'm doing already.

Again, it's mostly just for fun so I can play with a pet. It works well enough for that, but not as well as my usual build.

How about throwing in Rampage as One or Never Rampage Alone for IAS and increased movement speed or health regeneration?
Not sure if this will work energy-wise though...
