I've been playing a similar build to that, and has been the best Dervish build I think I've ever played. I used Aura of Holy Might with it also, but used [wiki]Radiant Scythe[/wiki] instead of Protector's Strike. I also took Heart of Fury, because with lyssa's energy boost, it's easily affordable and an IAS is always nice, and means you're more likely to hit a foe using a skill for the damage increase.
I had to switch out Lyssa for Melandru in places like Shards of Orr...so energy was a bit dicey, and required a +5 energy scythe, but was just about doable. I was going off Dervishes before I tried this build.

I would hope that anyone, new or not, would be welcome in this public forum without fear of being attacked by those who think they now better. I am sure you are very experienced at the game and this is why I've chosen to participate in this forum- to learn from you, not to be treated disrespectfully by you. I'm sure your tactic works well at the playground at school, but this is the big wide world where people treat each other with a bit of respect.
Lastly, its not discrimination unless you are treating me differentially on the basis of my sex, race, or religion. It just being rude.

anyone who says "tanking is an art" needs to go learn how to play. I was trying to say it nicely.
also, you are free to join in discussion, but if you dont know what your talking about you end up looking stupid. thats why i keep my nose out of the PvP section, I would sound like you do here.

Just because you can tank with a profession doesn't mean that tanking is the best use for that profession. I can tank with an earth ele and some mesmer skills that doesn't mean that using an ele as a tank is the best use of an ele. Dervishes are not best used as tanks. Dervishes are best used strategically in the front line. With their ability to spread conditions such as blind, deep wound, weakness, bleeding, and cripple they can make a tough battle go a lot easier. As a part of the front line they also dish out respectable damage augmenting the party's overall damage output and ending fights quickly.
Oh and Molly a person can discriminate based upon any criteria that defines a group of people or objects for that matter. So he could discriminate against you based upon your lack of play time as opposed to other people on this forum that have been on the game since day one. So umm yeah he used it correctly. And that folks is pedantic karmic.
