Eliteless dervish Tank/Solo farmer
Simple and effective enough:
D/Mo
Scythe: 12+1+3
Earth: 12+1
Mysticism: 3+1 (kinda pointless)
Equipment: fairly irrelevant, health insignia recomended, 20% enchanting weapon recomended
[skill]Chilling Victory[/skill][skill]Reap Impurities[/skill][skill]Balthazar's Spirit[/skill][skill]Conviction[/skill][skill]Veil of Thorns[/skill][skill]Armor of Sanctity[/skill][skill]Mystic Regeneration[/skill][skill]Fleeting Stability[/skill]
Pros:
* Can handle huge aggro
* Can handle huge degen (7)
* Can actually kill and not run out of energy (3)
* Snares enemies (5) - easy aggro controll in groups
* Fair emergency self heal (2)
* (8) can be exchanged for res or any needed utility skill needed including elites
* All its survival relies on only one attribute line, one can plug in different damage dealing combos (including elites) if he can solve emanagement
* Works well as secodnary if needed

Suggested solo variants:
[skill]Shield of Judgment[/skill][skill]Smite Hex[/skill][skill]Balthazar's Spirit[/skill][skill]Conviction[/skill][skill]Veil of Thorns[/skill][skill]Armor of Sanctity[/skill][skill]Mystic Regeneration[/skill][skill]Symbol of Wrath[/skill]
[skill]Illusionary Weaponry[/skill][skill]Sympathetic Visage[/skill][skill]Ancestor's Visage[/skill][skill]Channeling[/skill][skill]Conviction[/skill][skill]Veil of Thorns[/skill][skill]Armor of Sanctity[/skill][skill]Mystic Regeneration[/skill]

looks good, a solid basic solo derv. just wondering why no elite? yes it works ok without, but wouldnt putting in ebon dust aura instead of thorns work just as well if not better? takes a bit more work (cycling through targets to get them all blinded), but wouldnt it even further reduce dmg taken? just my two cents...

this build is awesome.
130 is a nice gimmic, but this is the real deal.
I took out fleeting stability and put in EDA, using a scythe with +20% ebony.
Jesus, it`s good.

I did a similar build. However, I put in Vow of Strength and Heart of Fury with no other attack skills.
All I did was to make sure that my enchants are up and my derv is in a good position so that it can hit more than 1 target.

I think Windwalker insigna would be better, +15 armor comes in handy.

because ability to swap your elite to anything gives it needed flexibilty (its easy to mod it for any aditional damage or protection)

It's arguable, when your main damage source is Chilling Victory, i would take health insignia/runes over anything else.

Prophecies has best egain skills for farming, not not easy to get energy build without proph skills ... your best bet would be running as A/D with criticals or Rt/D with spirit channeling for "self-bip"

it depends on your taste and what enemies you fight - vamp, zealous and elemental prefixes are nice (or furious if using /W bonneti for emanagement), armor and enchanting suffixes, while enchanted, 15^50 or stance inscription works

zealous renewal could maybe be used as emanagement if u dont have prophecies but you dont get immediate energy back when you hit / are hit.

this is a pretty basic build. Its something that could be thrown together easily by someone comfortable with a dervish, but thanks for writing it up for the guru-users who arent as successful with their own builds.

Thanks for the build!
I use a very similar build on Melonni. It doesn't have Balth's Spirit (I forget which skill I usually run in it's place) though. Melonni seems to use it well (she finally stopped dying once I changed her skill bar).
I'm looking forward to trying your build on a Derv, once I get around to creating her.
Thanks again.
