one daggers are bad with AoL in pve because they hit only one foe
with the hammer i can hit all adjectment foes, if i hit them twice with the AoL bonus i would do mayby 200 damage to certain foes, with a scythe i mayby hit 250 damage to max 3 foes

Exactly. That's the reason why people use Hammers 99.9% of the time.
A Scythe destroys anything, anywhere in PvE anyway so I don't see why you'd want a hammer.
It might be fun in RA but Rangers will always be better at using a hammer than a Dervish.

Hammers can hit all adjacent foes, its just limited to 1 at a time lol.
Seriously though, hammers are made for knockdown. If you aren't using knockdowns you should be using either a scythe for damage or a faster attack weapon for more hits.
BTW, putting yourself in as many enemies as you can, then using crude swing on a dervish makes you take almost as much damage as wammos using frenzy and healsig. You will have 40 armor, is that really a good idea on the frontline?

If your intent on using a hammer on a dervish then lyssa realy isn't the way to go. as stated before, there in no synergy between the two.
I'd suggest using PvE skills, VoS, desp/drunken blow + fleeting stability.
Or preferably just use a scythe.

with lyssa there is no reason just go hammer spike if you really wanna use a hammer dervish, the spike will suck but i guess you can look like a railroad worker in a dress

If you're going Lyssa you should run Scythes over Daggers any day. With the buff to pious assault, a dervishes ability to keep rush or any other speed boost up, and some 1/2 attack skills, you're putting out better DPS than daggers ever would. Not to mention you've free'd up your secondary allowing you to take a better secondary such as /w for Bull's Strike, Rush, Wild Blow, etc

Yeah, instead of wasting time with a hammer I would go back to the Dervish ways and put your skills back into scythe.
With the 3-person hitting ability and the ability to spread conditions that way, it seems more efficient.
And since it seems your investing with PvE skills I would try and optimize with the Luxon/Kurzick PvE skills.
