You don't need the energy gain from mysticism with ursan. A zealous weapon is enough.
Best scythe I can think of for the job is probably zealous 15^50 +30 hp (or +5 armor if you really feel that way inclined). Because it multihits, it should net quite a bit of energy.
I'm not sure how swords stack up against them, myself; you can carry a shield but you might as well be running a warrior since you won't really be using any Dervish attributes.

I don't actually agree at all: with 12 on Mysticism u get 4 energy everytime Seed of Life or Healing Seed ends on you and they are always used in ursanway teams. Other skills like Patient Spirit will provide extra energy or any enchants a monk can use on a ursan dervish.
Personally i use 15^50, 20/20, 30hp scythe with 12 in scythe mastery which means in big aggrooes i can hit up to 3 mobs and deal up to 100 dmg at casters under ursan roar effect! Tested in DoA: if i land a critical+ ursan roar+ sundering armor it's more dmg than a single ursan strike
Personally when i play ursan i don't like to be always under ursan blessing, in some cases using some skills as mantras/stances/offensive skills (pain inverter most of all), shouts can really make the difference. Put on mantras, shout and stance and u are really pro!

It's not worth speccing 12 into mysticism when there is only 2 enchants in the team build. Maybe if both monks spammed it on recharge on you constantly but that's not happening
holy RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO i can't stop laughing

Yeah, I'd stop short of ever considering anything to do with Ursan "pro". It's the easy way out, even if some of the dungeons pretty much deserved it.
Also, I didn't say mysticism isn't helpful, but I stand by my comment that a zealous scythe is enough. You can keep Ursan up permanently as long as you're hitting.

I don't see the point of having Ursan always up...then u can only have a bar like this: [Ursan Blessing] [resurrection signet] and that's all.....
I don't actually like to play only Ursan, but i must admit that it's really powerfull and easy to use..maybe too much, infact most ursans don't even have any idea of the real game: check a FoW ursanway fast run and look what happens when they all have this [Spiteful Spirit] on! lol

Play Ursan only if you wish to play it as your last character. It makes you forget how to play the game properly.

This dude should be the king of the world!!
I started playing Ursan like 1 months ago and i was very critic to most ursan players...but then sometimes when u play it u have the sensation u are invicible ..it's just a feeling that, i think, many ppl have, so they don't actualy care of the aggroo or the difficulty of the map/mission/quest and they just overaggroo or go on fighting when half team is dead.
Luckily there are things that an ursan cannot do......1 ursan vs my derv= pawned (if were possible)

You basically can have a bar like that. There's nothing you can do out of UB that will match the same level of firepower. (Except maybe AoHM AoL, but that's not possible with UB in the bar anyway.)
The only reason to bother with the other skills are for the points where you're caught with UB down (e.g. due to e-denial).
