What's a good Dervish Build?
I'm trying to find a good dervish build that i can use in both PvE and PvP and just want some suggestions of good builds that allow maximum damage but also a fair amount of ability to protect with prayers/mysticism

[avatar of [email protected]][wearying [email protected]][eremite's [email protected]][wild blow][heart of [email protected]][imbue [email protected]][Eternal aura][attacker's [email protected]]
Is what I use, tbh combining defense with damage never really works out... but imbue can help heal stuff, and melandru's hp buffer + immunity to conditions is nice.
[Wounding [email protected]][Mystic Sweep][Eremite's Attack][Mending [email protected]][Signet of Pious [email protected]][Vital [email protected]][Staggering Force][Resurrection Signet]
Is another thing I used to use. It was decent... though I find melandru easier.

or
[build prof=D/W name="AoMel" box scythe=12+1+1 myst=12+1 desc="Weapon 1: Vamp scythe{br}Weapon 2: Zealous scythe"][wearying strike][eremite's attack][wild blow][aura of holy might (luxon)][eternal aura][avatar of melandru][heart of fury][save yourselves (luxon)][/build]
Various other PvE skills can be subbed in, depending on what you like - [drunken master], [ebon battle standard of honor], [finish him] or [you move like a dwarf] are all pretty gnarly.
Just remember - AoHM, IAS and attack skills = good; Balthazar and tanking crap= bad

On a personal note, I like to take a variant of the AoL build, subbing out AoL for Avatar of Dwayna in HM. It presents alot more survivability and is dam near necessary for H/H HM

I Vanquished all of Nightfall H/H with an AoL build. I hardly ever died unless I was stupid or an ele boss toasted me with a one hit kill. I'm not saying Dwayna is a bad choice but it's not necessary or even smart to remove Lyssa in favor of Dwayna.

Lyssa or Melandru if you're going with an avatar imo. Dwayna is nice only if you're going into a place that's going to spam you full of hexes.

I like using Dwayna so I fit my heroes with less direct healing skills.
That and it looks hawt
And GW is about all bewbs so hawt + bewbs = win

Just look at how many heads Lyssa has.
I mean, seriously! Not only does Lyssa have teh bewbs, she can also 'service' all the wammos in your team at the same time.
Time saving + bewbs + freaky hawt = uber win

QF teh LULZ!
I usually take Lyssa for everything, subbing in Melandru when facing SH bosses like Djinn. The extra energy and damage really does make a difference.

The problem with Melandru is that cost 25 energy which means 3/4 of your max energy and actually last 62 secs with 13 in mysticism....Lyssa Balthazar and Dwayna cost 5/10/5 and last like 10 secs more with less points in mysticism...
A question to all dervish players: how many of you generally use [vow of silence] ????

Likewise. I've used it on the like 5 HFFF runs I did. Generally I don't bother, since it's highly situational.

It should take up all 25 of your energy points. Switching to staves solve this problem, and Eternal Aura = Infinite god form.

Running, yes. General play, no.
