it's a superb build apart from the fact that you're using a superior rune of scythe thingy. It's never necesssary to have over 12 in weapon mastery, so just mix around the attribs a little and you'll be fine.
Oh and the rune of clarity is a waste since you're immune to conditions anyway, but leave it on incase you switch elite for some reason... or something...
Other than that, thumbs up for a terrific build!

you definitely don't need a superior rune but you should always have more than 12 in scythe. you should use a sythe +1+1 hood. 75 health is too much to sacrifice even with AoM.
i would say it's fairly standard apart from the fact that you don't have [[aura of holy might] in there instead of [[mystic vigor]. AoM is pretty energy intensive but insead of [[zealous re], i would take a zealous scythe and [[save yourselves]. in NM you can get away with just about anything but in HM extra armor always comes in handy for your team.
seb is right about the rune of clarity though. it's a waste with AoM

[Eternal Melandru;OgCikysMFg1cxcJfJu1DSf9dB]
Same equipment and runes, how about this alternative as a Balthazar build.
[Eternal Balthazar;OgCikysMBd1cxc5eJu1DSf9dB]
Swapped zealous renewal for eremite's zeal, to remove eternal aura at will (to recharge AoB and Heart of Fury) and additional energy.
Used AoB instead of AoM in second build due to less energy cost, so I can cast AoB -> HoF -> Eternal Aura -> Eremite's Zeal more easily.
Coments?
And as for swapping MV for AoHM, I was actually thinking about that myself, but went with MV for increased tanking ability. And as for SY!, I only have rank 1 kurzick, so it wouldn't be very helpful.

if there's one thing you'll learn in this forum, it's never, ever use AoB. it's bad in almost all situations. the only time it's good at all is if you have a lot of undead around you. but even then if you use [[aura of holy mig], you'll still be dealing holy damage. if you don't have factions, i would stick with your first build or [[avatar of lyssa].

Zealous Renewal is bad. You should really put in something like Zealous Sweep if you want energy management. You're also lacking AoHM.

Okay, based on above criticism, I added AoHM to my Melandru build:
[Eternal Melandru;OgCikysMFg1cxcJfJuJD2DSfB]
But, I'm worried on a few notes:
(1) How is Eremite's Zeal as energy management?
(2) With AoM's 25 energy cost, won't I have trouble using skills after casting AoM due to energy lack?

Eremite's Zeal sucks.
Just autoattack with a zealous scythe for a few and you'll be good, or if you want remove Eremite's Zeal for Attacker's Insight at 4 spec so you can jump straight to deep wound.

Hmm..attacker's insight looks good. But I liked having something to remove Eternal Aura whenever I wanted.
Also, I was considering swapping out Melandru for Lyssa:
[Eternal Lyssa;OgCikysMBd1cxcFfJuJD2DCAA]
Do you think Melandru or Lyssa would work better?

They are both great IMO. I generally stick to Lyssa unless I'm going into an area that I know has a lot of nasty conditions.

if you're doing shards of orr use melandru because of all the blind, unless i'm there, i stick with lyssa for almost all PvE purposes. [[avatar of l] and [[Aura of H]=everything dead fast.

1. it sucks. lose it
2. yeah, its a pain. I always take drunken master instead of HoF on melandru builds to conserve energy. zealous sweep is nice to.
