Obdisian Flesh D/E RA Build
I saw a Dervish running [[Obsidian Flesh] in RA. ;o
I decided to try for myself and see how well it works (remember, this is RA).
[Victorious [email protected]][Mystic [email protected]][Crippling [email protected]][Signet of Pious [email protected]][Vital [email protected]][Heart of [email protected]][Obsidian [email protected]][Resurrection Signet]
To my surprise, it worked alright! I did not need to worry about casters at all.
However, movement, which is crucial in PvP is lacking excessively. Someone [[Resurrection Chant]ing a couple feet away can finish their resurrection and successfully evade me. I tried to cope with it by throwing in [[Crippling Sweep] to make sure they move at my pace, but it is no use against ranged attackers and hit and runners during [[Crippling Sweep]'s downtime. ;3
Does this build have any potential whatsoever? Should I even pursue such a build in PvP?

You may not have to worry about casters, but no one should have to worry about you at all either. If I saw someone gimping themselves like that i'd run away and laugh a bit, and maybe wand them a bit for fun.
I don't think the cripple will help you at all against a decent player when they'll just prekite and avoid you all game.

I hate to admit it, but you're right. );
I guess [[Obsidian Flesh] will stay labeled as PvE-material.

[[Pious haste]? Make sure to cover it. I dunno. The only option you really have.

If you're that worried about enemy spells why not just get your enchantments up then use [[Vow of Silence]?
Not saying it's a good idea due to your own healers not being able to cast on you, but certainly better than Obby Flesh.
Also, if you're worried about a monk not being able to heal you, then use your Signet of Pious Light to cancel it, it'll heal you and then they can cast. Also, if your build requires your team to have a healer to succeed, it fails (as does RA, but that's another story).
