Reaper's Sweep is the better Elite attack for anything but a CritScythe Assassin. Even then, I'd be tempted to carry Reaper's Sweep because I don't need AoE DW every 3 seconds to make everything explode, and I'd rather have the bonus damage from Reaper's to assist in the damage spike.

I've used it on the assassin and make big NUMBERS
Bleeding is meh and the reduction of heal effect of the deep wound is overrated in PvE - what prevents you from killing the enemy isn't as much healing but the protection skills, both protection prayers ones and hexes/stances/conditions/weapon of warding/etc.

I think they're equal in effectiveness.
WS gives you more damage over time, is more consistent with it's DWing (can't tell you how many times I've gone to DW something at less than 1/2 health, only for it to die before I could get it off, which is one of the reasons I personally prefer WS; when I use RS I often end up not getting to use the DW at all), and allows immediate DWing of a new foe once you kill your current target.
Meanwhile, RS gives you more damage over the short term, and is more effective against enemies that don't bleed. Balance. If only more of it could be found in the game...

I can understand why you'd use WS over RS in that instance, reaper and Megas. I still prefer RS, bonus damage on Reaper's is too sweet to pass up for me.

I like [wounding strike] because when running 3 discord necros or more stuff dies quite fast,so a 3 sec recharge dw which is on demand unlike [reaper's sweep] just makes stuff die even faster, now if u would play with humans than i agree u could take something different than a spammable dw.I don't say[reaper's sweep] is bad but tbh i never really need the enchant removal except some rare cases.
