PvP (Comments) Weird Heavy Dmg Dervish
Ok so i was playing RA as a mesmer and i got shreaded by this derv who i was surprised by hit exceptionally hard even for a derv so i wanted to recreate this and this is what i came up with:
D/W: 15 Scythe not sure on other stats
-Wild Blow
-Twin Moon Sweep
-Victorious Sweep
-Mirage Cloak
-Vow of Strength
-Attacker's Insight
-(Optional)
-Res Sig
Strategy is basic simply maintain VoS and Attacker's insight then before an attack use mirage then wild blow for unblockable stance removing crit to clear the way for a heavy damaged twin moon sweep clean up with another heavy damaged victorious sweep, rinse and repeat.
Now to tell the truth i've personally never seen this build in RA (probably because VoS is unpopular) but it may have existed before this so let me know about that. Heres my general run down:
Pros:
-Really Heavy constant damage
-Spikes damage
-Removes stances
-Self healing through heavy damage skills as well as can ward melee
Cons:
-Heavy energy use (build good for about 1 kill before exhausting itself)
-VoS can become useless on a conditional team (making the build near useless)
-Does not have condition skills
-No snare (even though its not needed once a character sees this damage spike they'll probably teleport or run)
Comments on this build? I think this build honestly is just for fun i guess just because its nice to see that hight damage hit.
Rate it out of 10 please and enjoy

VoS isn't good for RA.
It's random and there for you cannot be sure your enemies won't have conditions.

I'm using Blinding Flash on Assassin!
Stop! Now my elite won't work!
... a 4, conditions are great. They are like hexes themselves... they are hexes (Remember evade? Same as block). Using a build that isn't at 100% with them gives a 4.

No snare or IMS, no IAS, no DW.
VoS's no condition requirment realy removes alot of other oppurtunities to create passive damage, you may not notice it, but with a snare, you may end up hitting a foe twice as much as you would without. Same for DW.
In RA is "Random" so you cannot decide wether your teamates will have conditionsor not, think about how common they are, most warriors have DW, most rangers have poison and sometimes cripple, eles have blind, etc, etc. You will struggle to find a team that does not have any conditions.
