First let me begin with my background, I have played dervish almost exclusivly and am 1900 chests from GWAMM. I love the derv class, I think they are the best looking and can dish out major damage. That being said I would like to address some of my disapointments.
1 st Dervs get nerfed because other classes abuse derv skills, the 2 that come to mind are Mystic Regen and Chilling Victory, IMO they could have easly fixed the problems with these skills by simply moving them into Mysticism, this would have ended the Ele abuse of myst regen and the Ranger abuse of CV, while leaving it as powerfull skills for derv.
2 nd Mysticism is a cruel joke, I know many ppl have offered suggestion for its change, so here is mine, change the energy/health gain to whenever a enchantment begins or ends. Simple and would possibly make me want to use it.
3 rd the Scythe and that any class has the ability to hit multiple targets. This should be a derv only ability. It even stated on the Guild wars main page under dervish that they are the master of the Scythe, let them be.
Now some things i love. I love VOStr+AoHM+Asure Scan+Wild Blow, I'm Doing 250% more damage, Most targets die in 2-3 hits, very usefull for running in and slaughtering the healers, even in HM. Now i know the draw back is conditions so if im H/H i just run conditionless on my party, easy enough with rits, necros and mez because almost every condition can be subed for a hex. Now this can be energy intensive so i use RR candies and Cupcakes, Which to me is like adding 2 skills to your bar. I have tons of fun with this and have vanquished every zone in the game with it.

#1. derv skills get abused by other classes bc other classes i.e. sins, wars ect.. do it better.
#2. its not the derv that hits multiple targets, its the scythe. so why change it?

I think #1 above supports Jonzcrusher's point, why do other classes do it better if Dervs are masters of the scythe?
