My Beginner Dervish Build (Suggestions Needed)
This build I made is basically for beginning Dervishes like myself on Istan up to about level 11 to 12. This build includes all skills accessible on the island, also. (I use a Major Mysticism Rune because I don't want to buy a Minor one as I already bought a Major on accident ).
Equipment:
Head: Blessed Elonian Hood: Armor=40 (+10 while enchanted); Scythe Mastery=+1;
Chest: Blessed Elonian Robes: Armor=40 (+10 while enchanted); Health=+25;
Legs: Blessed Elonian Leggings Of Minor Earth Prayers: Armor=40 (+10 while enchanted); Energy Rec.=+1;
Hands: Blessed Instani Vambraces Of Major Mysticism: Armor=40 (+10 while enchanted); Energy=+5;
Feet: Blessed SunSpear Shoes Of Minor Vigor: Armor=40 (+10 while enchanted); Energy Rec.=+1;
Weapon: SunTouched Scythe: Damage=9 - 21 + 20%; (Requires 5 Scythe Mastery);
And Heres The Build:
Beginner PvE General ScytheStalker
Dervish/Monk
Level: 9
Mysticism: 7 (5+2)
Scythe Mastery: 8 (7+1)
Earth Prayers: 5 (4+1)
Wind Prayers: 1
Heart of Holy Flame (Mysticism)
All adjacent foes take 36 holy damage. For 30 seconds, your attacks deal holy damage. When this Enchantment ends, all adjacent foes are set on fire for 2 second(s).
Energy:10 Cast:0.75 Recharge:15
Vital Boon (Earth Prayers)
For 20 seconds, you have +60 maximum Health. When this Enchantment ends, you are healed for 117 Health.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:8
Zealous Renewal (Mysticism)
All adjacent foes take 36 holy damage. For 20 seconds, this Enchantment does nothing. When this Enchantment ends, you gain 1 Energy for each successful hit while under the effects of this Enchantment.
Energy:10 Cast:0.75 Recharge:15
Grenth's Fingers (Wind Prayers)
All adjacent foes are struck for 24 cold damage. For 30 seconds, your attacks deal cold damage. When this Enchantment ends, all adjacent foes are Crippled for 6 seconds.
Energy:10 Cast:0.75 Recharge:10
Eremite's Attack (Scythe Mastery)
If this attack hits, you deal +8 damage for each adjacent foe (maximum 30 damage).
Energy:5 Cast:0.75 Recharge:4
Chilling Victory (Scythe Mastery)
If it hits, this attack strikes for +13 damage. Whenever it hits a foe who has less Health than you, target foe and all adjacent foes are struck for 39 cold damage.
Energy:10 Cast:0 Recharge:10
Pious Assault (Scythe Mastery)
You lose 1 Enchantment. If this attack hits, you deal +13 damage and inflict a Deep Wound for 13 seconds.
Energy:10 Cast:0 Recharge:12
Sunspear Rebirth Signet ( )
Resurrect target dead ally at your location with full health and 10% energy for each Sunspear rank you have attained (Currently 0..0%). This signet can only be used once per mission unless recharged by a morale boost.
Energy:0 Cast:3 Recharge:0

Ok, well, to begin with, let's look at your build.
Zealous Renewal is really not a good skill. In fact, without an IAS, it's really rather pointless (as you won't gain much more energy from it than you lose casting it). Attacker's Insight is significantly better for energy management, even at very low wind prayers.
Heart of Holy Flame isn't really that good either. A better skill would be Eternal Aura (on Istan, the AoE from it is a great source of damage).
Without the mysticism skills, you could then put the attribute points from it into wind prayers to further fuel attacker's insight (for best results, use it with chilling victory and then pious assault).

Hey I'm in the same boat. I made a new account so I'm starting from scratch! Ill post what I use later tonight and maybe we can both come up with a decent idea for a build. Currently I have all the piece to obtain collector armor in lehtunda bog. I have extra, pm me and we can mee up.

My 2 cents.
- Your 8th skill isn't worthy. You've got only 8 skills, why do you want to take one you won't use during the exploration ? Either find a unlimited rez or let heroes/henchmen do the job.
- I don't like Pious assault. In fact I don't like to strip myself from any boost I can have.
- You need to spam attack skills. Currently you only have three attack skills, two of them with high recharge, then you do mere scythe attacks between each eremite's attack.
