im a girl, and i refuse to play female assassins. they are waaay to skinny. also, i just really dont like the play style, but thats getting off topic. the one in the first post of this thread actually looks much better than what we get in game. please...put some curves on the poor stick assassins. kthx.

I was gonna make a female Assasin cause of the crappy male looks for the Assasin but yea both male and female are just too yech for my tastes. That plus what in the name of Grenth was A-Net thinking with the whole female Assasin dance?! Out of the 2 new classes only female Rits have the better dance and better looks. Male Rits look okay but their dance scares me alot. *shudders* Oh well. Guess I may try a female Rit after all. Also I just don't feel like messing around with the whole Energy management crap with the Assasin class. The Assasin class both looks wise and Energy management wise are a huge disappointment in my very honest to Grenth opinion.

Solution:

Allow TWO Body types (or maybe Body could vary with Armor?!?) so that the competing visions can both be seen in the final game.

I have a feeling which will be more popular...

The term you are looking for is 'athletic'. I know it's not a popular bodytype for ogling, but that's what it is.

I am going to have to agree, most "heavy duty" athletes lose alot of their curviture, look in ESPN magazines for some examples. It would make sense that over a life time of training you lose certain features in your body... though I must say that assassins are a tad too skinny.

I think people worry about this way too much, personally. Could the assassin character designs be a bit more aesthetically appealing? Sure. Is it a game-breaking issue? Definitely not.

I'm very pleased with what I've seen of Factions. It's impossible to please everyone, as one learns very quickly from reading these forums.

It's not that the assassin has no curves, it's that there is nothing there to curve. There's nothing wrong with not having super curves, I myself tend to prefer women who have the "skinny" less curvatious body. But the assassin goes further than that. Something about the assassin just seems less than healthy for a fully grown adult woman, which I thought these characters were supposed to be.

Guys, if you want your normal playboy style girls just choose the other class, no one is forcing you to make a female assassins and no one is making you take all their clothes off and stare at it for hours.

But seriously. I think the female assassin looks fine. Why does it matter if she looks good or not. Complaining about a character being too skinny (which I dont think she is. she is athletic) is just as bad as saying a character is too fat. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I would like to see overweight (let's say 400 lbs + ) characters. Armor stretched over a stomach of fat and with a 'Slam' skill to belly-flop-insta-kill enemies. A 'Roll' attack would be interesting too.

Assassins need to be able to move quickly and lithely, for those who need to see a chest, just imagine that their boobs are strapped down (for the afore-mentioned ease of movements).

You're calling all GW players ugly?

I actually agree.. she's too skinny. Give her a wider waist (to go with the rest of her body, so still reasonably flat and uncurvy) and I'd be happy with her. She might be athletic and fit, but.. she looks like she's got anorexia

Then again, I'm making a male assassin, even though they're almost as hunched as their necro counterparts, so I won't have the problem where the female needs to look good.

They need to offer bright blue hair for both male and female assassins though.
