Default Assassin, Worth making??

Mkay. I've been thinking if i should even make an assassin or not. although i see a lot of potential in them, ive gone through the game and seen the discrimination towards them. I think this is mainly due to the fact that most of them think they're tanks. But perhaps they are just underestimated, kind of like how rangers and necros were.

So think they'll be more accepted in the future? Yes, No, Dont care? lol

I beat the game, and not once did I see someone in my team say no assassins. I have friends that beat the game with assassin, no problem. Its up to you to decide if you wanna make one.

It is ,point blank , an extremely fun class. I love it and don't know how or when I'm gonna pull myself away from it.

Oh yea and just advertise yourself as "Sin LFG, I do my job and dont try to tank" and if you have an elite skill throw that in there as well

Im having fun with my Assasin, probably even more then my warrior. Its cool to be able to teleport behind enemy lines to attack that annoying mesmer, and knowing that most of the time, doing a 3-4 move combo takes down 1/4 - 1/2 of their health.

Think You should give it a go. I didnt have too much probs with teaming, but again i was playing with my friend who was on MM. Its defo fun to play with an assassin. I dont like melee classes, but i do like assassins. I almost like my assasin as much as i love my rangers

Play assassin for yourself, and nobody else. You probably suck later in the game, dieing 5000 times, but it is a fun build. Much more fun than any other character.
I play Assassin. I am a terrible killer, because it just takes to long, but I am expert lurer. I completely mess up defences, by teleporting in and out all the time. Aggros don't know how to deal with that.
After a while, I eventually find a target, but I don't rely on that.
Maybe GW will tweek it a bit, giving Assassins better armour or weapons. Killing a monk with a butter knife is not easy

eh depend. I like playing my assassin. A/N I feel is the most versital assassin.
They Do damage easier then supposed to. Going by preview stats to the stats now,.. you might as well say they are different characters.
an assassin needs to play like this..
pick your target, rush in, kill it then repeat. no trying to be a tank holding the mob or nuker spreading his dmg. 1 target at a time, several aoe's will prime your following targets. Also the key to being a really good assassin is when you start to take extensive dmg..... warp out!!!!!
you can always heal, enchant and rush back in.

just play it smart and its fine. lil boring though. only fun cause its new.
