PvE Assassin Build help
Hi, I made an assassin ahwhile ago but I have played only PvP with him b/c there was too much assassin hate in PvE. Now that the hate is dying down I've decided to go back to PvE.
My problem is I don't know how to play an assassin in PvE and I'm not sure on what type of build to use. My PvP build can drop another player with my 4 skill combo every time, even the pesky touch rangers with their stances. But when fighting high level npc enemies, I can't. Also, the enemy AI targets lower armor level targets so when I shadow step into combat, all the enemies turn on me . This leaves me enough time to only get a short combo off before needing to shadow step out, and thus, not killing the enemy.
Right now, my PvE build looks something like this:
-Golden Lotus Strike (For energy management)
-Fox Fangs
-Death Blossom (enemies are often bunched out and this provides some nice AoE damage)
-AoD
-Critical Eye
-empty spot (right now I have Way of the Fox or Way of Perfection, but I'm not sure what to put here)
-Shadow Refuge
-Res sig
My stats:
A/R
-Dagger Mastery 12+1+3 = 16
-Critcal Strikes 11+1 = 12
-Shadow Arts 6 +1 = 7
5 unused points
I'm using the endgame Ceremonial Daggers
Does my build have any potential? Or would it be best to start from scratch?
Thanks for the help,
Sicarius

AL is a bit problem. Thats why I made this build Critical Mastery for PvE tank. And for alliance battle.
With this build AL 70+15+20 = 105

For PvE it's enough. When you go PvP make some changes if u need more damage.

this looks very similar to the build I started with, just use your secure combo you used in PvP and just only target secluded enemies like monks.
Oh and god PLEASE no more sin tanking, we just can't have that right now, this is really starting to0 worry me again.
