Exclamation 2 Assassin Builds - FBsin and PROMsin

Hello!

In this thread I'll share with you my two most favourite builds that I use for PvP, PvE, and AB.

First the PROMsin, which is the short form for Promise Assassin.

Equipement

Maxed Valkyrie Armor +35 Health
Dagger Mastery Mask + 1 Dagger Mastery
Major Dagger Mastery + 2 Dagger Mastery
Minor Shadow Arts + 1 Shadow Arts
Minor Deadly Arts + 1 Deadly Arts
Minor Critical Strikes + 1 Critical Strikes
Superior Vigor + 50 Health
Ceremonial Daggers or Customized Crippling Daggers with 1+ Dagger Mastery. I strongly recommend the Ceremonial Daggers though. It is also suggested to be +15% damage while health is 50% or more.

Stat Set-Up

One thing you have to note is that you do not use any stats or skills from your secondary proffession unless you have the Monk or Ritualist secondaries. If you do, put 3 Stat Points into Protection or Restoration for Ritualist.

Dagger Mastery - 11+1+2 = 14
Deadly Arts - 11+1 = 12
Shadow Arts - 3+1 = 4
Critical Stikes - 8+1 = 9

Skills

Assassin's Promise {Elite}: 5 Energy - 3/4 Usage - 45 Recharge

Elite Hex Spell. For 13 seconds, if target foe dies, you gain 17 energy and all of your skills are recharged.

Black Mantis Thrust: 10 Energy - 10 Recharge

Lead Attack. If this attack hits, you strike for +19 damage. If target foe is suffering from a hex, that foe is crippled for 14 seconds.

Jungle Strike: 5 Energy - 10 Recharge

Off-hand Attack. Must follow Lead Attack. If this hits, this attack stikes for +19 damage. If that foe was Crippled, it does +29 damage.

Wild Strike: 5 Energy - 4 Recharge

Off-hand Attack. Must follow Lead Attack. If it hits, this attack stikes for +19 damage and target for loses 1 stance.

Death Blossom: 5 Energy - 12 Recharge

Dual Attack. Must follow an off-hand Attack. If it hits, Death Blossom strikes target foe for +38 damage and all ajacent foes take 38 damage.

Nine Tail Strike: 10 Energy - 10 Recharge

Dual Attack. Must follow an off-hand attack. Nine Tail Strike cannot be "blocked" or "evaded" and strikes for +38 if it hits.

Shadow Refuge: 5 Energy - 1 Usage - 8 Recharge

Enchantment Spell. For 4 seconds, you gain 6 health regeneration. When Shadow Refuge ends, you gain 36 health if you are attacking.

*Ressurection Skill - Resurection Signet is recomended*

Usage of PROMsin

Start out by finding a target. You're target should be a caster of somesort, as their armor is weak and you'll have no problem taking them out and if you have others in your party, it'll go much more smoother and faster. Start off with getting your target outside of your argo and casting Assassin's Promise on him/her. Run up and unleash Black Mantis Thrust, Jungle Strike, and Death Blossom. If your target is not dead, start over your attack combo using Jagged Strike, Wild Strike, and Nine Tail Strike. If this build is used correctly, you can easily defeat almost any foe. If your health drops below 75%, use Shadow Refuge before being another attack on another target. If you're in the middle of an attack, use it when you're at 50% health.

Now for the FBsin, which is short for the Flashing Blades Assassin.

Equipment

Maxed Valkyrie Armor +35 Health
Dagger Mastery Mask + 1 Dagger Mastery
Major Dagger Mastery + 2 Dagger Mastery
Minor Shadow Arts + 1 Shadow Arts
Minor Critical Strikes + 1 Critical Strikes
Superior Vigor + 50 Health
Ceremonial Daggers or Customized Barbed Daggers with 1+ Dagger Mastery. I strongly recommend the Ceremonial Daggers though. It is also suggested to be +15% damage while health is 50% or more.

Stat Set-Up

Dagger Mastery - 12+1+2 = 15
Deadly Arts - 0
Shadow Arts - 6+1 = 7
Critical Strikes - 11+1 = 12

Skills

Jagged Strike: 5 Energy - 8 Recharge

Lead Attack. If Jagged Strike hits, your foe suffers from Bleeding for 9 seconds.

Disrupting Stab: 5 Energy - 10 Recharge

Lead Attack. If this attack hits, it interupts target foe's action. If that action was a Spell, it is disabled for 10 seconds.

Wild Strike: 5 Energy - 4 Recharge

Off-hand Attack. Must follow Lead Attack. If it hits, this attack stikes for +20 damage and target for loses 1 stance.

Death Blossom: 5 Energy - 12 Recharge

Dual Attack. Must follow an off-hand Attack. If it hits, Death Blossom strikes target foe for +40 damage and all ajacent foes take 40 damage.

Horns of the Ox: 5 Energy - 12 Recharge

Dual Attack. Must follow an off-hand Attack. If it hits, Horns of the Ox strikes for +30 damage. If struck foe is not ajacent to any allies, that foe is knocked down.

Flashing Blades {Elite}: 10 Energy - 20 Recharge

Elite Stance. For 20 seconds, you have a 50% chance to block incoming attacks while attacking.

Shadow Refuge: 5 Energy - 1 Usage - 8 Recharge

Enchantment Spell. For 4 seconds, you gain 7 health regeneration. When Shadow Refuge ends, you gain 48 health if you are attacking.

*Ressurection Skill - Resurection Signet is recomended*

Usage of the FBsin:

Try to keep Flashing Blades up at all times. When you see a foe, make sure Flashing Blades is up. If it is at half of it's recharge, let it refresh and use it while running in, so that you have more protection for a longer period of time. When you run in, use Jagged Strike off the bat. If that foe starts to use a spell, quickly follow up with Disrupting Stab to block it. Once you've used one of the lead attacks (or both, in many cases) use Wild Strike as your Off-Hand attack. Now you have to be careful when you get to your dual attacks. Is Flashing Blades going to refresh soon? Wait for it to and tap it again before using your Dual Attack. Before you use your Dual Attack, look at your foe. If s/he isn't near an ally, use Horns of the Ox. If s/he is close to an ally, then use Death Blossom. Once you've completed your combo, your foes should be dead or near death. If you're health falls below 75% it's recommended to use Shadow Refuge as it'll quickly recover your health in a short matter of time.

Finishing Note

I spent alot of work putting this build together. When I say alot of work, I mean alot of work. Please don't "steal" this build. If you're going to post this build onto another website, please mention that Seperas Star and his Guild (Death o Glory [DoG]) created these builds.

Also, a little sidenote. This took an 18 year old computer teacher with an average of 72 words per minute to write up

No Twisting Fangs? How are you going to kill stuff?


I'm not too impressed. FBsin looks a little better, but what's the use of Assassin's Promise if any of your other skills are maximum 12 seconds to recharge? Get a better elite, that way you won't have to waste points in Deadly Arts.
