new assasin Build
Ok here is an assassin build i have thought up, it's still in the works and i hope it's alright.
A/W
Full energy Armor + the armor torso which gives blindness 20% reduce
Weps - Zealous Dagger of fortidue
- Energy +5 Zealous daggers of fortidue
Skill attributes
Dagger Mastery - 12 or 10
Deadly arts - 7 or 10
Shadow arts - 3
Critical Strikes - 16
Impale
Black lotus Strike
Twisting Fangs
Flourish {E}
Rush / Return / Dash
Expose Defences /speed siphon
Shadow Refuge
Resurrection Signet
Ok there are two variations if you take the first option of attributes you do more damage with your melee attacks but impale will only do 36 or 38 earth damage.
While if you take the second choice of attributes you do a little less damage with your daggers, but your spike does significantly more damage with impale doing 50 damage.
This i find is a little more better as you are not really using any dagger mastery skills anyway,so maybe the latter would be better.
The build works on the premise that you cast impale then launch into your spike, which is black lotus and twisting fangs you then rinse your spike skills with flourish, you can then use expose defences and quickly launch into your spike again.
Wait for the hexes to recharge and then launch into the spike again. It shouldn't take to long as impale has a 20 sec recharge.
As there are no serious speed skills in the assassin class, i chose to use Rush and i know there are a few people chuckling but assasin's can gain adrenaline and i have tested it at Balthazar temple four hits with your daggers activates this skill for me thats good enough.
I don't liek dark escape as that's really a get out of dodge skill and ends when you use a skill. I am using Rush so that when i deal with kiting players i can catch them. Rush is about 8 seconds in length.
Well anyway there are different variations you could potentially use being that you could take out rush for return, or you could take out expose defences and put in speed siphon.
The problem i see with the build is that my spike doen't do quite enough damage, thats why i put in impale for more damage.
Also the other problem i have is that the build is based solely on the fact that "said" target will need to have a hex on them. But most of the assassin skills are so condtional, if i took this and put in another skill i woud have to meet there conditions in order to attack.
So anyway here is the build

Never thought of using flourish with an assasin, brilliant idea though it could get a bit energy heavy depending on skills.
Rush is a big no no especially for assasins, you would have to build up adrenaline for it that means your going to be in the heat of battle, and rush is your only speed buff and it wont be lasting to long with no streangth, all it takes is a warrior to turn round and evis+executioners strike you, followed up by snare or cripple and your done for if you dont have an infuser on your team.
Assasins are'nt really any good upfront, pvp or pve as they are as squidgy as bugs. Consider adding return in there instead of expose defences, run in, unleash combo on a target or two seeing as you have flourish, and teleport out.

nstead of rush, consider siphon speed.
Very useful, as it provides a fast recharging he for black lotus, and a speed boost for you which can easily be kept up constantly, AND a snare for the target.

ok i have edited my OP, on the skill attribute i have put Return though i did say in my description of the build that you could use Return instead of Rush.
expose defences is there for one reason as a back up hex to use, it's there so i can hit through distortion as well as guardian and wards.
The energy is fine with black lotus strike giving you back a nice slice of energy back as well as flourish so it really wasn't a problem.
