A/W to me is as counter productive as R/W or W/R, the classes don't mesh well at all.
I HIGHLY recommend NOT using WY for 3 reasons...
1. You're not a tank.
2. Warrior's protect, NOT YOU...
3. You're not a tank who can stand there and swing 4 times to get the adrenaline for it...
Your biggest chain is 4 but your most sensible chain of attacks is 3. If your setup is proper, you can do about 80% damage to a single foe if that foe is unable to be covered.... [Falling Spider, Twisting Fangs, Impale = dead foe guaranteed if left alone]
If you can't spike the foe [high armor], then degen the fark out of them...
edit: and yes, I LOVE Plague Touch as well and for a sin, it's the most efficient use of a 2ndary in my opinion... No stats for necro skills? why not?!

i think that the best build would be assasin/necro or assasin and one of the new classes that is coming out.

A/Mo or A/Rit.
Mend Ailment/Resilent Was Xiko
Blindness kills.
Conditions hurt. Hexes are a pain.
Long enchantments, hard rez, avoids a touching game with another necro.

A/W just got a little more bad with the changes to Watch Yourself, though I'm sure it was mostly to nerf the paragon.
IMO Remedy Signet > monk condition removals, unless you're using Empathic Removal. But that's elite. Mending touch is ok, but I still like free skills more.

R/Ws are very productive, and W/Rs are used for pets. Not anymore though.
Paragons aren't tanks, either. Although I agree in not using WY.
