I'd say go for elementalist for these reasons:
1) Farming This build is pretty sick for farming about everything you will find in the game.
2) [Shock] can be pretty good for KD combos.
3) Conjures which can help in PvE..

Secondary doesn't matter. Assassins should rely on their secondary prof for 3 things:
self-heal (questionable)
knockdown
instagib hex (pretty much only rigor mortis)

self-heal isn't really needed, and feigned naturality does it well. for knockdown, the PvE only skills are far superior to their 'normal' equivalents. Hex isn't really needed as you don't rely on getting a kill once every minute single handily. I would recommend ritualist for a hard res. Warrior is fine for SY as well, however until you've got that bar you can already switch your secondary to anything.
