Infinite SF?
Shadow Form
Arcane Echo
Deadly Paradox
14 Deadly Arts
14(16?) Shadow Arts
Has this build been nerfed and unuseable? I have tried to run this build but without any success. Has Deadly Paradox ever been nerfed? If so, what was it originally and how much did it change?
Also, if you know of another way to keep SF up permanently while solo, do tell. It would be a great running build.

yes.. deadly paradox has been nerfed really bad:
At start: 5 energy, 50 % faster skill recharge and activation time(not sure about duration)
After a while: 10 energy, 50 % faster skill recharge and activation time(not sure about duration)
Now: 15 energy, 33 % faster recharge and activation(not sure about duration)
all you need to have SF on you all the time is:
16 shadow arts
any wep with 20 % ench, I prefer daggers. I don't use staff because the HSR might ruin things for me. I got around 40 - 45 energy.
what you do is while casting arcane echo, use deadly paradox (or right before using arcane echo), then SF, when you see the original SF has recharged almost at half then use arcane echo SF.. and keep going like this. deadly paradox ---> arcane echo ---> SF
If it helps me showing you, whisp me ingame.. IGN: Zealix the Assassin

It can still be done, since epiQ have been using it in HA to try winning by making the other team rage quit or resign.

Deadly Paradox used to be 5 energy, that was before the nerf. You will probably be abled to keep it up all the time, but just take an enchaning set with you to make things easier.
There is a high chance that you will get energy problems with that build aswell, therefore you should bring: [Auspicious Incantation]just in case you need it. And ofcorse dont use the spell on your normal SF, that would screw your chain up, just use it on the echo'ed SF so u dont suffer from any downsides.
You could also bring: [Arcane Mimicry], but that's only helpfull if you have an other SF partner.
Btw, i've ran this build a couple of times in Ha, (just to make some quick $$ with friends) and it's doable to keep SF up, even without an enchanting set..

You can still run around with perma-SF, it just takes timing and e-management

Yes it still works, is just harder... only really useful for running though.

That is why you bring some PBAOE spells or any other spells that don't directly target them.

The problem with PBAoE spells is that most competent PvP players don't bunch up like AI, so most builds don't utilize them in HA.
The problem with Shock Axe is that Shock is a KD yes, but has a 10 second recharge. The likelihood that you're able to Shock a Sin at the very moment he does the chain is not likely, given the probability of him bringing skills like Viper's Defense or Heart of Shadow, among other healing skills like Feigned Neutrality.
Since its not common to run perma SF builds in HA, most teams to build to counter it. If it were to gain more popularity, ala the IWAY builds from the past, then you'd probably see more removal skills like:
[skill]Winds of Disenchantment[/skill]
[skill]Well of the Profane[/skill]
[skill]Grenth's Aura[/skill] with [skill]Signet of Pious Light[/skill]
[skill]Signet of Disenchantment[/skill]
[skill]Expunge Enchantments[/skill]
All of those can get through SF, and several are unlinked skills, or need no investment into an attribute to be effective at removing enchantments. I'm sure if the perma SF teams start encountering these types of skills, which leaves them all with 53 health, that wins would be quick and easy.

Just as a note, I use a staff and the HSR just changes the location of the Echoed cast to where it used to be before DP nerf. You just have to keep an eye on your effects monitor and gauge when it's HSR or not.
Anyway, yes, still quite possible and hopefully will be for a very long time. Lamers that run it in PvP should really just die. It's a waste of a spot and a purposeful grievance.

dove you and me need to go run a perma build in ab sometime
anyways to all those who keep saying shock/rending touch only shock works and rending doesnt and therefore so you cant rip a sins sf and only a well timed shock can put em out of buisness
good try though

Shock them while they are using arcane echo. If you can't hit a 2 second cast spell you fail hard.
