well, you can try my old AoD signet build:

it's not very good, and it only works well in AB. but at least it's usable.

Why are people running both Way of the Master and Critical Eye on their Critical Barragers? Just take a Zealous Bow and drop Critical Eye for more utility. You really don't need both.

for pve nothing beats using critical agility with disrupting accuracy. (spec:15(or 16)cs, 12 Mark). camping on one target with a shortbow can pretty much interupt any spell they cast. (I interupted two fire imp in abaddons gate that simultaneously casted Rodgorts invocation without using savage, d-shot, disrupting shot). Keen arrow is good for an almost constant +56 bonus damage plus critical hit per usage.

as for a sin with a pet, thats a pretty bad idea. most of an assassin's damage comes for bonus damage that increases with higher dagger mastery. Critical strikes is important for energy management, putting points in BM only decreases yours and your pets potency.

These templates aren't considered "uber" by any stretch, but I have fun with them:

Interruption:

12+1+2 Critical Strikes
12 Marksmanship

[Needling Shot][Sloth Hunter's Shot][Disrupting Accuracy][Critical Eye][Critical Agility][Way Of The Master][Dash]

The first slot is designated for an Elite Arrow attack depending on the situation. I prefer to use either [Burning Arrow] or [Prepared Shot].

You could also swap [Needling Shot] for [Keen Arrow]. It's somewhat of a gamble, but it deals considerable damage for an arrow attack.

Barrage + Bleeding:

12+1+2 Critical Strikes
12 Marksmanship

[Barrage][Needling Shot][Sloth Hunter's Shot][Critical Eye][Critical Agility][Way Of The Master][Sharpen Daggers][Dash]

This one's somewhat boring in regular play (I rarely run Barrage even on my R/X because I have bad luck with foes not clumping together), but it was a blast using it during the In Defense of The Eye quest. You can also wrack up a very nice amount of AoE degen if you have a Necro companion with [Ulcerous Lungs].

I really wish it was viable to play as an Assassin Beastmaster. I tamed a raven just for that purpose, but the results are weak at best.

I really like this, being you interrupt on almost every barrage, with some backup int's if you need them. you could potentially remove d-shot or savage shot if you wanted to and bring a spirit, but I like this

doesnt barage remove preparations , so why the interupts from disrupting accuracy if it doesnt go together with barage?

Probably the most useful build in this thread...

Honestly though ranger does not offer sins much.
