Survivor vs. Nightstalker
Before I finish decking out my Sin's new armor, I'd like a general consensus on what would be better for a Moebius + DB build for HM: Survivor or Nightstalker insignias.
It sounds at first like Nightstalker's would be better for the armor boost, but I'm thinking that since I'll be using Critical Defenses for any countering any major melee assault and that armor ignoring damage will probably be an issue in a few areas, Survivor's would make a better choice.

Never ever Survivor's. Armor is reduced damage, reduced damage means your Monks have to heal less.
The only reason ever to get Survivor's is coordinated spikes in PvP. But these don't happen in PvE. And for those big one-hit bosses you got [[Protective Spirit] anyway.
Surviver suck in PvE, always.
As for the +armor to chose: I went with Blessed. As you said you are running an enchantment all the time anyway (no Assassins leaves without [[Critical Agility], right?). Better to have the +10 always up then having the +15 not up half the time (when kiting or moving between enemies).

Nightstalker's only work when you are attacking. Survivor's always work.

The only reason you shouldn't be attacking as an Assasin is through Spiteful Spirit or Empathy, which should be removed fairly quickly.
Go Nightstalkers.

nightslatkers would be your best bet, because with MB/DB you should be attacking most of the time anyway

Even though blessed gives you +10AR all the time. Wouldn't it be better on assassin, if not using Nightstalker's, to use Vanguard's, Infiltrator's, or Saboteur's, since you will be getting +10AR no matter what and also another +10AR for a certain damage type.

I like survivor because more health means I get targeted less, and then I start spamming save urselves and entire damage gets reduced.

Either use Survivor, or use one of the specific damage type ones. Nightstalkers is a waste, especially in PvE when damage doesn't matter. Bring prot, and you can frenzy 24/7, so why you would ever want 50000 armor on a sin is beyond me.
tl;dr 640hp > all.

The only thing I fear in PvE are large armor ignoring (boss) spikes. Survivor's for me.

Vanguard, Saboteur and so on give +10 only vs. physical, i used Blessed and was happy - not sure how the damage comparison between Blessed and Vanguard looks, but anyway, its 10 times cheaper:-P

Blessed or radiant you mean !
You'll either be enchanted with shadow form or critical agility. If it's shadow form you won't be taking any damage so you're best of with radiant. If it's critical agility blessed would be best.
now, flame me :-)

If you have sabway heroes spamming prot spirit then +armor becomes irrelevant 99.9% percent of the time anyway. All you need to worry about is armor ignoring life steals. Survivor.

That's for skill effects. Nightstalker is an insignia. Nightstalker's will stack with Critical Agility.

Only skill effects are counted toward the cap.

if you're using [critical defense] which is wasted slot in pve imo, why bother with armor period. nightstalkers for me. if you can find a balance between high health and high armor, why lean towards one??

Armor becomes completely irrevelant if you have protective spirit on you.
However Health will always matter, always.
regardless of build even in a 55 >.> the goal is 55 health =P.
So whats the point?
GO SURVIVOR!!!
Survivor and radiant are....the best.

sins that favor higher health over armor look to spike 24/7. they have just enough health to get in 2-3 chains in the middle of battle beofre they're wasted, and im talking about pvp. in pve its w/e but pvp if you're in a PUG with no monk, be prepared to have a boring match with a few kills.
sins with high armor are givin the opportunity to sit in the battle and pressure the hell out of monks/eles/necros/mes and the occasional melee, which is what i favor.
in shorter terms, high health is dumb on a sin. they lose it to fast to even be accounted for it. but armor is forever and therefore the better choice.
P.S. if sins are so oppssesed with having high health. go /N and use [demonic flesh].
