Default Experimental build

I came up with the idea while seeing other people utilizing Awe in different sorts of builds.

[TripTech;AXKyI7xjZ+lViZzOQJGEbHB]
Critical Strike -12 + 2 + 1 (headgear)
Deadly arts - 12 + 1

This build takes explaining. The idea of this build is to not to cause lethal damage, but to utilize the KD abilities of the Deadly Arts to your advantage.

Generally, you'll want to start off with scorpion wire and start running away from your target, you'll then trigger Awe while your target is down.

WC should be placed soon after. Wastel's Collapse allows you to panic enemies into using skills to end it. While not particularly useful for builds with low or no activating skills, it's particularly useful against casters who already have daze on them, letting you easily interrupt them and still trigger WC.

Use your other skills while waiting for your first ones (Awe, particularly, which is not affected by Deadly Haste) to recharge. Scorpion Wire can be place again to meet the condition of Iron Palm (while running away after Iron Palm, make sure your target is up before you trigger SW. the range stated in SW is approximatly wand range) and provide two knockdowns in a row, and three with Entangling Asp, which can easily cover the downtime of Awe.

If you find yourself unable to KD or inflict Daze in your target, you can still annoy them with Disrupting Dagger and Wastrel's Collapse. Don't be afraid to use WC even when you don't think you will be able to KD them. The panic can cause most players to use spells they normally wouldn't, and skrew up their train of thought.

USE DAGGERS ONLY TO TRIGGER DAZE. You will not cause much, if any damage, so use caster mods on them.

In all it's a fun build to play around with, and very useful when coordinated.

5 Seconds of Daze seems a bit meh. Also, what's the point in using a class designed to output huge damage, to not play said role.

Deadly arts kd spam?

[build prof=assas/monk deadly=12+1+1 smitin=12][Deadly Paradox][Signet of Judgment][Dancing Daggers][Entangling Asp][Augury of Death][Signet of Toxic Shock][Iron Palm][Resurrection Signet][/build]

There ya go. There's really no need for a 5 second daze especially with all the kd spam and being a caster.

Mo/A monk rocks! Awe is fun but overall a kinda meh skill the energy and the 5 sec daze is not really worth it.

Yes. WC is severely underrated tactical skill. You can use it, at the very least, to panic players into using a skill to end it, and against many elementalists and builds/classes with longer casting time spells, it easily sets them up for disruption, which is where disrupting dagger and daze come in.

It seems situational, but with your other skills, you can easily pester many other classes out there.

How boring and unoriginal. If the game was meant to be played solely in this way many people would have left. Heck many people wouldn't have purchased the game in the first place. How do I know this?! Simple. I am a living, breathing example. Probably 1 of many. There is a time and place for efficiency which of course isn't 100% of the time.
