But how bad is the energy maintenance now ?
Can you still do anything or can you just maintain SF and that's it ?

Full regen gives back a just little bit more than the 30 needed for the shadow form chain over the 26 seconds or so that sf is active. when you add damage skills, even using GoLE, you will run out of energy after several casts.

While it is possible to maintain sf in a run, for a fight you will need zealous weapons to keep the energy up.
