Question whats the max energy pool for an assassinnn?

hi!
I got a question about the assassin energy ( i dont remember how to spell the "pool" so i am sorry if its wrong). With runes and everything, whats the max and if you want for an example a superior rune instead of a attunement rune?

a superior rune of any kind will not effect energy pool. With a high energy set, (+42)(+10 attunements)(+8 from radients I think) so 90 seems right.

inscripts:
1+3+1+2+1=8
rune of attunes:
2+2+2+2+2=10

= =18 energy on top of your base.
If you want any other runes, take of 2e for each rune you want to add (since you'll take out a rune of attune to replace with another rune)

I don't know what the base energy for a sin is, but you can look that up on wiki.

base energy is 25 for sins i think.
so 25 + 18 = 43 energy.
with weapons you can get some more.
with insc weapon and offhand, like sword and offhand max 17 more
makes 60 energy.
with a wand and offhand with +15 energt -1 energy regen insciption you get a total of 43+42=85 energy.
add max asura title, moral boost and consumables for epic amouths of energy lol.

True and it answers the question he asked, however, something to keep in mind is with a wand/offhand set to get to 85 the sin sacrifices 2 pips of regen.

Plus wands can not have a zealous mod so you will regain energy very slowly. Also, you will have to raise the secondary spell caster attribute for the offhand to at least 9 in order to get the full 12 energy. To do that you will probably have to reduce critical strikes which will further reduce energy gain. And you will not be getting any benefit from the increased chance for crit hits from dagger master (since you wont be holding daggers). So, in order to get the maximum energy pool you will have to give up almost all the methods sins use to regain their energy quickly.

And, of course, wands have no enchanting mod so any enchantments you depend on will have to be cast 20% more often, causing a still greater drain on your energy.

Oh, and in regards to the sup rune, as long as it is on the head, hands or feet, you will only give up 1 energy - making max 84.

There are ways to work with all that of course. Just be aware that merely maxing the pool may not be the optimal situation.

I'll guess this question is in regards to a perma-sin.
So having a high energy set, and 5 attunement runes is probably a no-no.

As already pointed out, you can have 8 energy from Radiant Insignias.
With your Superior Shadow Arts Rune you'll be able to have another 8 energy from Attunement Runes.

So that's 16 on to your base 25 energy, giving you 41, before weapons.

For weapons, you can either use a max Insightful Staff of Enchanting with a max "Have Faith" inscription,
giving you an extra 20 energy (15 while SF is down). So a total of 61 energy with a staff.

You could also have any kind of martial weapon of enchanting with an "I have the power!" inscription,
and the offhand of your choice for a total of 58 energy, providing you meet the requirements for your offhand.

If your question wasn't about perma-sins then just ignore this post =P

Base Energy
No armour: 20

Armour
Mask: +1+2
Guise: +5+3+2
Gloves: +1+2
Leggings: +2+2
Boots: +1+2

Weapon Sets
Staff: +10+5+5
Martial Weapon and Focus: +5+12 (with correct attributes)
High Energy Wand+High Energy Focus: +15+12+15 (with correct attributes)

Ranks
Not too Shabby (max Asura): +15

Not including using consumables it's quite possible to get upto 100 energy with an Assassin.

And all this goes to show you might as well be an Obi Elie, not a sin, if you want to jack up your energy pool that high. Bring some +5 energy zealous daggers and/or an energy set to switch, and you will have plenty for a Perma-sin. Don't forget...you need to regen energy, as mentioned above, which you do best with your daggers, and you need to KILL, not just tank, which you do with your daggers. Or a scythe, if you want to go that route.

on a regular build, you should be fine with 35 energy, you can attain it with +5 energy inscription in your daggers (+%15 are useless on daggers anyways) and a mix of Survivor and Radiant insignia, with 1 attunement rune. Thats what I use. With Full Radiant I can attain 40 energy but I rarely need that much.

Yeah, I was kinda wondering about the point of raising your energy to "epic amounts" when well-designed sins probably have the best energy inflow of any class (through critical strikes and/or fast attacking with a zealous mod).
