Also like everybody else above, I don't see anything that will be changing my assassin build, with the exception of maybe finding a spot for Unseen Fury.
Edit: on second thought, meh on Unseen Fury, assassins have enough unblockable for it to be completely irrelevant.

I ran Unseen Fury on my AP mesmer.
With a slight investment into Shadow you should get some 5 or 6 secs of AoE blind with no activation. And then spam it when AP recharges it.

MS/DB always has been and always will be sweet. Before all this shadow form rubbish, it was the big Sin farming build. Still very effective in areas with lots of physicals.

If you need Defense as a sin, then Critical Agility / Critical Defense / Shadow Sanctuary should be enough to suffice.

I was thinking of an unstrippable stance defense like dervs and wars or a maintainable secondary defense to cover critical agility....oh well can't ask for too much in one go.

Okay when SF gets nerfed cause of the qq, they should turn Crit Agility into a skill

MS/DB had always been strong in the offense department, its the defense that just isn't reliable enough in terms of pug standards.
Ain't gonna complain though...Anet did saw through the superiority of AoE damage in comparison to single target spike and added aoe damage to several attack skills...hopefully next time they address the defense.

Last time I looked, you could go A/D and bring Conviction (and Vow of Piety is still pretty bad). However, you have CA for armor, and if you want more defense you can bring Crit Defenses for lolblocks. Sins still have as good or better defense, especially considering their defense doesn't sacrifice their offense (dervy stances mean no stance IAS, which is usually baed).

Stances aren't unstrippable defense. There are skills that can end/remove stances:
Assassin:
Wild Strike
Paragon:
Wild Throw
Warrior:
Wild Blow
Whirling Axe
