If you absolutely must go in guns blazing, Ebon Escape would be good for getting out of the danger-zone once you've destroyed everything.
aside from that, no one can help you if you aren't willing to work through your own stubborn-ness. GW is not a game where you can slap on a build and expect it to go right 100% of the time.
Looking at your builds in question, the problem I see is your reliance on spells. As a sin, you are there for melee attack outside a few niche builds. Spells with solid casting time prevent you from doing damage. The standard of PvE sin attack change is Jagged Strike, Fox Fangs, Death Blossom for a reason. It's quick, it deals buttloads of damage. If you EVER have problem with being blind, Block opponents, ect, Asuran Scan eliminates these.
Doing buttloads of damage is the best defense nowadays, because the longer enemies are alive, the more damage they can do to you. Instead of Vital Boon/Pious Light, focus on things that keep you alive with a passive effect like Critical Defense, Armor of Sanctity, Flashing Blades.. Leave direct healing to classes who are meant for it. Making yourself harder to kill makes it easier on the healers.

Like I said, enchantments aren't working. If I see a group of enemies cluttered together, I charge in after them. A lot of times, there are Mesmers and Necros in this clutter. When I kill them, my enchantments get removed. Skills like Critical Defenses and Critical Agility have too long of a recharge so I don't like them. Armor of Sanctity is nice but I prefer to always take self healing.
As for me not wanting to change my style of play, it's because I don't have to change this. My builds work fine with nearly any HM stuff and I have fun playing the way I want to. What reason do I have to change it?
Of course, if I'm doing something so hard or so specific that I have to change it, of course I'll change the way I play. But for WoC, my new builds work just fine with my style.
Some players like to carry self heals, some don't. Some players like to carry res skills, some don't. If you don't like self heals or resses, good for you. I'm not going to tell you to bring them. But I'm not going to remove them from my builds since that's my style and they work. When I see people discussing builds, it's usually split and people argue which build is better. I think it's quite pointless for player A to tell player B to use player A's builds since they're better when in reality, player B's builds work better for player B.
I'll admit that it was a mistake for me to even start this thread. The reason I posted here was because after the first 2 quests, I was annoyed with the Afflicted constantly removing my Critical Agility. Rather than calmly creating new builds to work around my problems like I normally do, I just had a knee jerk reaction and posted here when I knew how build discussions usually end.
Again, thanks for trying to help but I'm set. While there are lots of great suggestions here, I think it's best that I continue to create my own builds. Thanks.
