Hi people,

I haven't tried it yet but I'd like some info.

If it is possible to do it in 4.5h, does that mean that there's a way to do it faster while not being afk ? (in any area I mean)

fastest way would be too use cons... then vaettir, then afk i would guess

hmm well it is me then, my connection does weird stuff. i did notice that the LB did not display on all heros, and other things, i was missing team chat sometimes with others so i din't see text (have had screen shots mailed to me to prove someone was actually answering lol)
got Survivor done anyway, it was just a matter of the old fashioned careful way.

I tried this but after i closed the 4th portal (so still the last left), i place myself and my heroes on the right place, but nothing spawns... only the three portal wraits are there?

What do i do wrong?

Ok, found now the right spot, mobs spawn, but i got wiped even in NM !!!!
what do i do wrong?

Think everything is set up right, i use the life barrier bond, ...

hmmmm don't know what went wrong on your screen but most likely your bip got too much agro and they killed him --> enemies run in your mesmers and the whole party gets bustet

the first thing i would change would be the mesmers change them to kss so you won't need a bip which makes it a lot safer
before the ele patch 2kss would kill em in HM so if you have 3 kss in NM you shouldn't be ever able to fail^^
the SoS isn't realy needed i would trade him vor a ST rit

last of all try the build where you solo tank gives much faster xp

I used Tlam's method last night, worked perfectly. Was a bit afraid that it might not be so easy to fight your way there, but those keystone mesmers really bring a punch, so I had no problems at all.

Thanks, folks. I'm buying the idea and will try after the event weekend (hate lags during the events).

Wonder if this can be done for LB title too in theory? Did anyone tracked the lb pts increase?
Got many characters with LB5 - 7 and thinking about waiting until the double LB pts weekend (think it's around last weekend of March) and take care of 2 titles at the same.

You need a blessing to gain lightbringer points, you can't get one inside a mission, only during normal instances. So, no.

Sorry for the late reply. I would put the mesmers further up ahead, away from the rest of your heroes. Your mesmers do run around quite abit and can get aggro titans to your other heroes. You need to stick around and see how it goes for a few waves before you actually afk.

I have not used the kss builds myself since I already got the title for all my characters before Tlam published his new build so I can't comment on it. But if that works, great!

@Plutoman, I tried taking additional leechers on an earlier attempt, its time could be better (using the set up similar to above) - 3 AFKers.

Tried this one and died died and died again.

I know exactly what you mean! I tried Deasu's setup too but still ended up being pooned.

Now, with a bit of tweaking I have fixed it.

Placement and DPS are what your after. Rather than just having two Hero Mesmers next to you for damage, I had 3 and Magrid. Behind them, up on the hill, where Tlam put his 3rd mesmer, I put my Rt healer, she has a spirit of recovery which she pops when the odd derv titan gets through which counters their burning conditions a bit.

Off to the left, where Tlam put everyone but the mesmers in his setup, I have just put the Bonder and Mending healer.

This means that all my heroes are now working in some way, whereas before magrid was just popping EoE and QZ. This has really increased my dps output and seems to be much safer.

Heres a picture of whats going on when its all up and running:

NOTE: Look how many skills I have had to disable so as to get the hero's to focus on what they are doing.

Also I had to change the bonding setup a little bit as I had more front line dps'ers. You can tell from the image whats up on who. I have no bonds up on my Rt, she doesnt seem to catch aggro.

2 more thins to note

1. I did not use a grail of might.
2. I am still using Lightbringer title (which I was not doing before)

It seems people are charging 45e a run for this now in the services forum. I cant believe people are paying so much for something they can do themselves.
