John, maybe we should ahold of Sac so he can do a few of these runs and maybe get that elusive BDS he has been trying to get forever. Looks similar to what I run minus I do Earthshaker to keep fendi on his butt.

How are you dealing with the group of crypt wraiths, shock phantoms and enchanted axes on the 2nd floor after lighting the braziers? No tactic seems to work and this build cant handle the amount of pressure without wiping once. Mind you I am using x/rt but the mesmers packing cry of frustration along with air ele seem to decimate this build even with a fresh shelter with AoU up.

The 2nd floor u have to flag your spirits before the first brazier in the hallway where the hallway bends. Have a fresh Shelter up if your solo'ing this with hero's as your lighting the last brazier. I use a cupcake for a speedbuff and pull the groups back to my heros. The hero's need to be far enough back so that if u die as the spirit wall, they will break agro form heros. I also added the RoJ-Prot for the last hero position.

I will be updating this build later today.

I have updated the builds and the adjustments are as follows:

1. ST Rit-dropped Armor of Unfeeling-was not using correctly. Added Glyph of lesser energy for even better energy management. I want the ST to ***ONLY SPAM SHELTER+VITAL*** so yeah i want a ton of energy management. Some have suggested to bring offensive skills on the ST and I have to disagree. The ST should be set to avoid combat and used only defensively and as the primary rezzer if Gwen goes down.

2. Added the RoJ/Prot to make this a true heroway run although I use a dual account or have a friend join me and I will drop the RoJ/Prot.

3. Added Recuperation to the Nec/Rit healer to better counteract the degen in Fendi's room. Dont worry about energy issues because.........

4. Took out the Mes secondary on one of the RoJ'ers in favor of Necro for Blood Ritual. I have found that making sure the ST Rit and the Healer have enrgy as well as the Panic will help prevent wipes on Fendi.

5. Changed the panic bar slightly in favor or more interupts.

6. Added armor of unfeeling on the SoS to help spirits live longer against the enchanted and fendi.

Done this and several other Dungeon Hero SC's with john, and it's fast and easy. You should put other guides up here as well, brah.

Did this with rev in game to iron out a couple spots and I have to say this is the best heroway build for SoO when done right. Did an all hero run before the update hit and got down to 30 minutes. Agree you should post more builds in the furture.

Made final adjustments to this team build making it fail proof, always killing Fendi on 1st attempt, with some minor changes to skills and tactics. I will be adjusting the OP at this time with final changes. Once again tyvm to everyone who has pm'ed me saying how much they enjoy this.

Listed Changes:

1. Replaced Signet of Lost Souls on Preservation Necro(wont use unless set to guard and I prefer the extra heal).

2. Replaced the 4th RoJ monk with another ST Communing Rit. This makes killing the enchanted and Fendi much easier.

3. Replaced a few skills on the mesmer making it more effective.

4. Made a DRAMATIC change to the tactics in Fendi's room. Doing it the "crazy" way before by entering the room by the lava stream can at times make it faster, BUT I found it more effective to pull him back to the bridge. Takes a little longer but is WAY safer.

5. Replaced Recuperation with Rejuvenation on the Necro Preservation Rit. Better energy management.

Final note: plz feel free to pm in game if you have any questions.

Tyvm for the kind words and I must say that you can have a ton of variations to this team build and still be successful.

Took the very same build through HM CoF yesterday, running a buddy who wanted the dungeon for his book. It was stupidly easy, blocked Murakai next to a rock with the spirits and she went down in moments.

Still waiting on my first BDS drop in SoO though

Just did it in HM. It was like a moderately warm knife through butter. the wurms pretty much melted and died. I did have 3 party wipes and a couple of individual deaths but they would all have been avoidable by someone more familiar with the dungeon - things like snowballs and standing on top of a frostmaw spawn when it popped out of the ground.

So far I have used this set up with variations in all hm dungeons except slavers and I have had to keep checking to make sure I am in hard mode on nearly every one.

Very fun.

I dropped p-spike for cof and p-lock for complicate. Seems to reduce the clamor spike on fendi's room as well the invoke spike on room 2.

Wondering if it is possible to go down to 30 min
Not I am complaining
Using Fall Back (running only) on 1st floor, 2 fights, key, 2 fights, fight in zone chamber takes always 10 mins for me

You dont fight in the zone chamber on floor 1. All you do is pop an ST, and agro the closest group to the door lock, and run through before the other 2 patrols crash into you.

If you want me to run you through this, so you can see my tactics, please feel free to pm me in game. I usually get 25-27 min runs every time.

Finally, I promised some updated builds and they are coming. I am currrently play testing a few different builds. I think that everyone will love my new ST build, the update to the healer, and some minor adjustments to the spikers. These new builds will be posted today or tomorrow.

Once again tyvm for the positive feedback.
