Default SoO Heroway in 30min or less

SoO HM HEROWAY

Hi Everyone, my name is Revrac and I just wanted to share my tips to doing Shards of Orr HM-heroway in style and comfort. This setup consistently gets me 6min,8min,16min floors without using any essence's. Good runs can be done in 5min,7min,12-14min.

Hero's+My Spot(SoS)
1a. Nec/Rit Preservation Healer OAhiYwhMJOJNN5EPFNNMxJOOBA 1b. Rit/Me OAWjMohMJOpTp5kLaOM7BZglPA Optional Rit Healer(Used when running Rit Primary)
2. Rit/Me St Defensive OAWkMkgZISqD2065MHmZgeQc7iB
3. Mes/E Panic/Freezer OQZDAowjK0QOM9ZQPQEIj6A
4. Mo/P RoJ/Fallback/Shouter Owkj4wQjJP+MUi1veSvrx7YcMA
5. Mo/P RoJ/Fallback Owkj4wQjJP+MUi1veiXdJ7YcMA
6. Mo/N RoJ-BR OwQTQYHDnxnhSs+uE8K1/R0JAA
7. Mes/Mo RoJ-Fast Sig OQNDA4oOP+MUi1ve2DICZgHA
8a. Rit/Any SoS- Human OACiIykMdNVO1Ji54DSD6NtLCA 8b. Rit/any OACiIykMdNVO1Ji5QKSD6NtLCA (Rit build for Solo heroway no partner,no dual account)
Brief discussion on hero's-

Equipment-All Hero's should be runed with radiant/survivor,minor vigor, sup headpeice, minor primary attribute, vitaes, and MOST importantly 40/40 caster weapons for the 3 Monk RoJ'ers. This will help bring down the Jesus Beams of death much faster. Only 12k a hero to setup a 40/40 set when bought in Factions at Vasburg Armory on the Kurz side.

1a. Presvervation Nec- Set to Avoid combat. 1b. The Rit Healer should be set to guard so he can take advantage of his interupts for energy management.

2.ST Rit- Set to Guard. This is the most important Hero for he is the one who will keep you alive at Fendi with a constant Shelter, interupts, and great E-management. Runes should be as followed:Major Communing headpiece, Major Spawning, Minor Restoration+Radiant/Survivor mix+Vitae.

3. Panic Mes-Set to guard. Panic is awesome at interupting the grouped balls. Other skills are for more interupts and e-management and for Deep Freeze.

4-5. RoJ Monks-Set to guard. These guys are the spikers and I cant empahsize enough about the 40/40 sets for getting the JESUS BEAM off and recharged in a timely manner. Not only to they clean house with undead but the near constant Fallback will speed you around the dungeon without the necessity of an essence.

6. RoJ/BR-Set to guard. This is also a spiker but is in charge of regen'ing the energy of the party with blood ritual. This Hero makes a huge difference at Fendi where energy management is very difficult.

7. Mes/Mo-Set to guard. This is an optional spot and although I rarely use this spot since I take a partner or an alt account, I thought this would work well for extra damage.

8. ME- *Rit/any or Any/Rit* - This is the SoS bar with 1 VERY important skill that cannot be left out. EVAS(Ebon Vanguard Sin Support) EVAS-Used to ball groups. I will better explain the tactics for in the following section.

Tactics

NOTE-I did not add a Map but cmon its SoO or look on wiki if you need to freshen up. Run to SoO from Vlox. Very easy to kill a few groups and run the rest of the way under "Fallback" grabbing the quest before u enter.

Mob Agro- As the SoS you will create your 6 spirits(3 from SoS+Agony+Bloodsong+Pain), then u will need to micro a fresh SHELTER on your ST defensive Rit hero, creep to the edge of the group your targeting, wait for them to stop and ball, then use EVAS on the closest target. After the EVAS, run into the ball and SUMMON your spirits on top of the ball. Dont worry the Priest will scatter but the majority will stick around the EVAS and your spirits. Groups tend to die all at once with no scatter, or in very litte time with scatter. If the EVAS dies because a Panic did not interupt the group, SUMMON spirits immediately to where your standing and take a step behind the spirits. The group tends to target the spirits giving you ample time to spike down the casters in the back, and allowing to clean up the melee and wizards who broke off.

1st Floor- Easy floor. Head to Cursed Brigand, kill, grab key, head to dungeon lock using tactics from above to clear groups fast and fun. When you get to the end room, quickly run to the wall on the left side of the 3 patrols. Micro a shelter, fallback, and EVAS on the patrol next to the portal then RUN. Dont fight the 3 patrols.

2nd floor. Kill Brigand and grab torch. When u reach the first brazier stop and flag heros before the brazier(NOT in the Doorway) where the hallway bends up against the right wall. Make sure to micro a SHELTER with your hero as your about to light the last of the 4 or 5 unlit braziers in the large room. Dwarven ally's are on the crown of the hill in the large room, while hidden treasures will be off the hill around the base. Once the large room is done(dont forget hidden treasures), move on with the torch through the doorway that opens, down the hall, through the poison jets(more hidden treasures), and light the braziers in the final room. Kill Brigand, grab key, and zone. *2nd Floor Big Room- IF you are doing this Solo, then MAKE sure to use Light of Deldrimor to grab the 2 dwarven ally's to help tank.*

3rd floor- After grabbing the torch at the start make your way to the "DEATH CORRIDOR". I call it this because of the 3 spawns that patrol right on top of each other in a VERY narrow area. Dont' fret this is a cinch. As you approach the poison trap you will notice a small alcove off to your right. Flag heros in there and setup spirits. You may now start pulling a group at a time although more then likely 2 groups will come at once. Don't worry they dont pull that far, in fact the alcove is as far as they pull. Finish them and make sure to light the braziers on your way to 2nd large room. This is where you will need to kill a few groups and light a brazier. Third large room is next with 4 braziers that need to be lit, two in the front and two in the back. Be careful with groups in here as a Priest from a another mob will come over and heal. FLAG those heros, put your spirits in front and pull if u have to without sending in the EVAS. Once cleared the key will drop from the Brigand whose group spawns after the 4th brazier is lit at the back of the room. Go through lock killing some of Fendi's pet Dracolich's and archers(hidden treasure) and make your way to FENDI's room.

FENDI's room: Once you get past the double Flame Jets that lead into Fendi's room, you will flag your heros up against the right wall. Micro a Shelter and flag your heros. Now move up an Agro "bubble" past them and setup your own spirits. Micro a Spirit Light Weapon on yourself and pull Fendi's group toward your Hero's and into your spirits. Once the first spawn is down and the Soul Spawns, it's time to run back to the bridge. Flag your Preservation Necro or Rit Healer+the ST Defensive Rit behind the rest of the party about halfway up the bridge. The rest of the party will be flagged about a half "bubble" in front of them. Your spirits should be right before the DOUBLE FLAME JET and slightly to the right. Once your spirits from the Heros original position drop, Fendi will advance into the FLAME JETS and your spirits.. Expect a fairly easy fight depending on how well you block Fendi. If you see an opportunity to block him against the wall, DO IT. Have fun and he should drop after a 5-6 min fight. Using a summoning stone when Fendi is pinned works VERY well to help. Merchants are very nice for this and cheap. *Alternate Stategy-Rush into Fendi's room and stand on the left side of the room just past the first 2 flame jets and down the little hill and back up it. Summon your spirits to the left side of the lava creek and try and body block him there. If done correctly, and a little luck, you can get a sub 10 minute 3rd floor.*

WHY attempt this or spend the 40-45k on hero setup??? Well let me tell you that this is a guaranteed sub 30 min run W/O any consumables and you wont have to look for a sinway team. You will get a ton of Deldrimor rep + Asuran Rep, 8-10 locked chests, and 5-7 hidden treasures(if you choose to bring LoD or a partner), and you have a LOTTERY ticket waiting at the end of the run in the form of a potential Bone Dragon Staff. This run will make you money, NOT get you rich like DoAsc, but with the unid drops, bones, dust, elite tomes, and the rare BDS it sure is enjoyable as a change of pace or if you want to do something solo.

Hope this was not too much info to digest without the help of uploading MAPS and exact battlefield positions. If your finding trouble with tactics PLEASE feel free to private message me in game any time and I will gladly show this run for free. Happy FENDI hunting!!!

This is not intended to be groundbreaking, but some helpful information for those not aware of how easy SoO is with a 7 hero setup. Never claimed credit for some of the current meta setups including ST, RoJ monks, or Panic for interupting, my only intention was to give some insight into the run making it easier for those wanting to solo with hero's but haters can hate.

instead of requiring a sos build for player, you can stick the sos healer in the optional slot and bring whatever build you prefer. kind of silly to call it heroway and then suggest you bring a friend.

he key word is suggest - as he says, the friends is not needed so it is still clearly a heroway build.

Being the primary SoS is KEY to this team build working. As the SoS it is your job to block Fendi with your spirits and I would think that would be very difficult micro'ing a hero to place spirits where u want them. Also, All the mobs leading up to Fendi, I use my SoS to immediately run into a mob upon casting EVAS dropping spirits on top of the mob and helping to prevent scatter.

I had a random guy(Article of Faith) message me out of the blue, and I showed him the run and the first time we did it in 5,6,10 min for a 21 min run. IF anyone is still curious please leave me a private message here on the forums or pm my IGN-Genius Was Revrac

The times I gave you and the heroway setup is based around me using my 2nd account as a leecher thus I give the option of a friend, 2nd account, or 7th hero. Bringing a friend of course is more fun then going solo but if you want a true heroway build of 7 hero's, just load up a mesmer fast casting RoJ to compliment the other RoJ monks.

After going on a run with Rev i can definately reccomend this, even with a wipe due to unlucky aggro we finished lvl 3 in 15 mins.

Thanks for the demo!

Got a couple of runs with Rev through SoO and I have to say the build is super effective. We kicked the crap out of Fendi in moments and got something like 22 mins to the chest which isn't that far off a SC.

Really nice guy too, totally recommend anyone interested tries this setup.

Great build, works perfectly. I threw in an extra mes for the optional and ran SoS on my Nec, worked great.
Unfortunately the drops in NM just aren't enough for me to keep doing it, but it's nice to know this can be done so efficiently.
Is there anything like this for DoA yet? Still need that statue.

The OP states it is for HM SoO so not sure why you are complaining about NM?

Great build concept Rev, would like to see it in action once or twice but, already have you added and had a chat

Works pretty good but I have made a few tweeks to suit my play style.

On xandra i put vital boon on her just increase health a tad bit and for minor healing since she was getting focused on by mobs. The replacing of spirits gift didnt hamper healing at all either. The hardest part of this is ofc fendi nin. Using the spirits on a non rit to block him is quite the chore since the rit mobs that pop up kill them instantly even with AoU. Also I don't like AoU on a hero sicne they cant use it properly at all. They will lay a spirit and wait for it to die right before using AoU. Going to find a replacement for it soon.

I would also like to point out that the rangers that spawn with fendi carry debilitating shot. This can render you and/or some of your heroes useless for quite a while.

I agree with you that x/Rit is not as effective at blocking Fendi as the spirits will die very fast. One way to help block is to use a mysterious summoning stone on top of Fendi at the same time as you drop spirits. Also, dont use all your spirits at the same time. Make sure you save one spirit to help block, and use your character as the extra blocker until the rest recharge. Also, it helps to know where to pull Fendi and if you want me to show you some of my tactics feel free to pm in game.

Looks awesome! Thanks for this will definitely try it out.

Edit: Just tested, ran with two accounts and works like a charm. Took me 40 mins because i had to micro both accounts, and I wiped at fendi because I attempted to just beat him without body blocking (which is the key to beating him).

Spent ~100k purchasing runes for my heroes, however on my first run this dropped along with a sapphire and ~10k in drops so im really satisfied with this.

Awesome work Tuna......If you want I can show you how I dual account, what i run on my dual account, and my strategy on fendi. Might cut down your time as I average 26-29 min dual account. IGN- Genius Was Revrac

Good job. SoO HM is an easy dungeon when done correctly.

Basically, drop discords heroes, and instead load ROJ monks/spirits and destroy everything.
