Hi!
I'm trying to make some funny setups for heroes and at one point I've realsied that Spirit Strength spear thrower actually deals more damage than Expert Dexterity "flatbower". Isn't that amazing?

That depends on the build you run. The weakness of spears is the lack of AoE. Bows on the other hand can use Ignite Arrows + Triple Shot + Dual Shot + EBSoH to create a ton of super buffed damage packets. Obviously that's not going to work on heroes (at least not nearly as well) but ED bars do put out reasonable DPS if you build them right. Again, it depends on the builds. As an aside, Rit heroes are far more valuable than Ranger ones, so if you don't have mercenary heroes running an SS bar may mean you have to give up a second spirit rit or something. Having said that, Spirit's Strength is really underrated, and spear Rits are cool too. Only Necro's rival them for the title of most versatile profession but far too many people see them as nothing more than spirit spammers. It's a bit of a shame, really.
