Over the years, I've found all sorts of useful tidbits of info about the possibilities for GW gear, both past and present. I've tried to keep them in a special subscription folder as I found them.

With this snazzy new section, I thought it might be helpful to see about starting a central list.

So, I'll start ...

If anyone would prefer I not list their name here or link to their posts, please let me know! I mean no offense, simply trying to give credit where credit is due. There are some names I've come to recognize over the years as true expert sources for such info.

Here are a few wiki pages I've found with helpful information and guides on the various mods available on gear and what is "max."
- Definition of "Inscribable" and where such gear comes from
- Wiki article with nice definitions of what is "max"
- It would be great if someone knows of a nice article to link here about the possible modifiers on inherent gear, especially if it helps highlight the possibilities on inherent gear that cannot be replicated with inscribable gear.
take_me has done a lot of research and worked on lists of what items cannot be found with inscription slots. Here's his wiki page with the list. Here's his old Q/A thread which first got me watching.
Yawgmoth posted this great explanation of the possible mod combos on inherent shields.
Here's a recent-ish Q/A thread about the limited attributes available on Canthan staffs. The responses from gear pros like Yawgmoth, take_me and Pleikki are useful to know. (Perhaps we could get a better "write-up" of the limitations to link here in the future.)
Moloch Vein started this thread, Maximum damage for low requirements - Which are they? a while ago. Ariena Najea has started a new thread in this section with plans to update a list of known items.

Feel free to add useful info that you often find isn't exactly common knowledge. Maybe this thread can become a useful, central list of such info. If there already is a nice main list somewhere that folks can go to find out such info, please do let me know! I'll look like a goofy noob for not already knowing about it, but that's never bothered me before.
