Unidentified Golds Market
Im wondering if there is any market for any sort of high end items that are unifentified.
These could be rare skins that come only uninscribable or r8 weapons that have never been identified.
Just wondering if people pay for these and take the gamble of getting junk or valuables.

well i'm pretty sure there is no big market.... at least i've never seen ppl selling unid high ends ingame. only things i see sometimes is like 7xreq9 gloom shield for 20k or something....
but well.... you can sell unid rare stuff ofc.
for example in one of my last threads i sold 6 unid canthan shields req9-12 (echovald, gothic, ornate) for 20ectos....

A few days ago, I saw someone in Kamadan selling a q9 Chaos Axe unid'ed for 30k or something. I can't imagine that anyone would be silly enough to buy it though - way too much of a crap shoot imo.
Even system.fan's Canthan shield set would be a dodgy proposition - more than likely, they'd be single-modded merch food once id'ed.

Like system.fan said the unid high end item market is miniscule and it mainly consists of unid shield packages. In the botting days of Griff Farms and Troll Cave farm the market was quite big actually, it wasn't unheard of to buy an unid gold cryst or q8 for a couple plat from an oblivious bot spamming in Droks or LA... Bought a gold q7 Longsword for 80k back in 2006, turned out to be 13%hexed :P

Well in 2005-2006 it was whole differend story, then Unid market was BIG
ppl selling unid r8's and all
Tbh i remember making my First "cash" by buying Unids
Like bought unid Chaos axe for 20-30k, Got 15^50 which sold for 100k +20-30e
Then after factions release also bought some and got r9 +5e chaos axe which sold for 100k +10e orso
Also remember buying few crap skinned r8's for 5-10k/ea

aw yes the good old days
I remember selling req9 unid Hornbows and Mursaat Hammers at 100k/ea in Ascalon <3
that was so awsome :P
but i guess topic is only about today's market =)
Well about the 6 canthan shields i sold at 20e....it was just a try. i thought ppl might pay like 5-10k/ea or something like that^^.
Maybe I'll sell some more of them later when I got more time for chestruns again...

Don't forget that since they added crash test dummy isle it only takes a couple minutes to nail down what mod is on a weapon.

Well it's possible to find out what mods are on a weapon....
But during chestruns I usually get like 30-40 Drops/Hour... and to find out what mod is on each weapon would be such a waste of time lol
Like i said. just sell all common r10+.... worth nothing even with +5 or 15^50 inherent or dualmod or whatever anyway. and ident all r8/9 and any rare skins.... It's not a big loss if all is crap. but it CAN be a big win if they have a good mod.

yea, if its any semi high end item that you could profit allot off then someone that knows they can sell would take the time to figure it out.
