I now see them for 75-85K instead of 100K (with the odd case of one seller selling for 60k). I expect them to drop further, buyers are willing to pay 60-70k for them. I suspect the price floor is determined by destroyer weapon cost (which is currently around 62.5k if you buy all mats from material traders).

Seems logical for the price to drop. Medals of Honor are not hard to get, especially if you've completed WiK on multiple characters. Onyx and Diamonds* will only come from dungeon chests, and you need 10 of each per Destroyer weapon, not to mention granite which is more expensive now then feathers.

*I think you can actually salvage these, but that happens so rarely that it doesn't matter.

Diamond Aegis + Highly salvagable mod --> I got 2 diamonds. Plus VSF gives plenty of onyx/diamonds and the end chest of FoW gives onyx, UW gives diamonds.

EDIT: It has a lot to do with the fact that BLA is now easy.

EDIT2: also had someone PM me saying 95K is normal and that I shouldn't sell for 80k because it is too low. He said I sounded desperate.

BLA wasn't the limiter, it was the difficulty in acquiring the cons to get a character into WiK coupled with the fact that the quest line alone would only provide enough medals for one weapon, give or take. Now it may be possible for a single character to acquire multiple weapons without extensively farming bounties.

Don't think it depends on the difficulty at all I just think it's getting harder to sell them since anyone who wanted Oppressor weapons got them or already bought them. Plus the new quests with Thackeray gives you 8 medals of honor I believe and they are really easy to do in a relatively short time compared to the WIK quests. And I really don't see how you get the cost of destroyer weapons relate to the costs of oppressor weapons.

Well, they're related because they're both HoM "Valor" fillers. Most people don't seem to care which weapons are in there, so long as they get their 8 points.

I would expect that Oppressor weps will continue to drop a bit before leveling off. Maybe to around ~40-50k or so. I imagine that there'll be a lot more of them around in the next few weeks as more players do the new quests and accumulate medals. More supply generally means lower prices - especially when coupled with the fact that a lot of players have already gotten the weapons that they need for "Valor".

It's possible that as Oppressor prices drop, we'll also see a bit of a drop in the mats for Destroyer weapons, as more people opt for the cheaper option.

Destroyer weapons before the calculator were 20-25k. Now they're about 50-60k.

I hope it's ok to post this, but I think it is relevant for anyone interested in the "going rates" for this stuff.

We've got things like Oppressor's Weapons, War Supplies, Destroyer Weapons, Tormented Weapons, hero armor upgrades, and many other not-technically-green-yet-equally-reproducible weapons and such on the current sticky thread, "Greens & Other Unique Items (all campaigns) Price Guide."

The more people who post reports of their trades there, the more helpful that whole thing gets for any and everyone interested in such markets!

The same goes for all the PC guide threads found from the ** LINK HERE! For All Other Price Check Guides ** sticky in PC section. While no one active may be willing and able to keep those OPs up-to-date (believe me, it is not as minor a chore as it may seem - I learned that the hard way!) the recent replies can still help those who want an idea of current prices ... if folks bother to post recent replies. :S

I realize it can be hard to find motivation to bother to post in something with an out of date OP. I'm not trying to guilt anyone into using those stickies - not at all! It's simply that the Green sticky has been up there like that for about a year now, and I still find a fair number of folks who haven't seen it ... much less, noticed that it includes non-green text things like Tormented and Oppressors Weapons. I thought it would be worth mentioning here, just in case it helps someone now or in the future. My apologies if this post derails the thread.

As for the original question, I do think Oppressor Weapons are and will continue to slowly drop in price until they're about the same as the greater of either Destroyer Weapon crafting cost or the consumable benefit gained from the War Supplies. In the past 24 hours, I have sold some War Supplies for 400g ea. So then 100k (250*.4k) for an Oppressor Weapon would still seem at least possible. But I've noticed sell ads as low as 70k or so, too.

theyll most likely drop to 20k each in a month or so, people will just make the most of it right now and farm it on multiple chars, for royal gifts + the oppressor wep

The thing is the people selling for 70k are not the ones selling war supplies. Those tend to be people with multiple characters that need to get rid of medals of honor which are not trade-able.

Update: tonight saw it going for 55-60k. I guess I'm no longer selling them seeing how Destroyer costs the same and looks crappier (generally speaking). WTB is at 50k or so.

I think the prices have gone down a lot because of the influx of Medals Of Honor from the wedding, but both Oppressor and Destroyers will probably continue to drop as more and more players fill up their HoM with them.
