Default Noticeable price changes since 03.03.11 - predictions and observations.

The alcohol skyrocketed and it's quite obvious why.
The XP scrolls might be a bit more wanted now, but shouldn't be that much affected IMO.

What about other items? Weapons with nice skin? Gemstones? Rare mats?
What havoc might the ability to run seven heroes wreak in the trading world?

Runes. There are almost no minor runes to be found at the trader, and sup vig was over 30k last time I checked.

I'm guessing hero armor pieces are going to go up again too.

Some green weapons might be wanted I think. The DoA green staffs for necro's or something might be in demand, but won't affect there price most likely, will just make em easier to sell.

Don't think end-chest items will change in price.. You won't even get close to 20mins FoW and 45minutes UW.. + its still a massive pain to actualy do it (some parts are near to impossible to complete with heroes since you can't fully micro 'm anymore). Runes will go up, some semi-easy to obtain greens with perfect stats will go up. Hero armors will go up a bit. Obviously Drunkard will go up to around same price as sweet and party (da fk crap title). Uhm..
Prices for running people thru missions etc will probably go down.

well, for sure alk and kathandrax hammers seem to "skyrocket" :-). Indeed even the minor runes are required to mod all heroe´s armors. higher runes won´t be needed for heros due to the fact that NPCs are sometimes quite stupid, so they will need some extra health to survive their stupidity. Furthermore I think in pre the prices will change a lot: many more people are around there now that LDoA is not too boring anymore (but unfortunately too easy to obtain now - well won´t discuss this here). The point is, that many more people will be around there. First they need good weps, therefore prices should increase in first place. The charr weps in contrary will stay or fall in value, due to the fact that no one needs to kill them anymore to get exp. still it might be useful to farm them due to the fact that quest-highlvl-mobs don´t drop anything. So they will most likely be quite stable. After the first weeks in contrary many highlvl-pre-chars will exist and those will produce a larger amount of good items, so after a first price increase the items´ value is going to decrease imo...
I think the update brought huge changes to pre-searing. Can´t decide if I find them mostly good or bad ...

I don't see why kathhammers should skyrocket, are people really that blind? They are redundant now, because you can get the title way easier. Fill a couple HM canthan mission books, or tyrian, or whatever, and fill them all, you'll get all the exp you need.. Hammers have disappeared, so you'll be faster off doing the missions than hunting down the hammers.

I do think speedbooking might become more popular again. There are still ways, only slightly slower (you can do one in 10mins, easily now) and they give rep + 6k exp ea. Would be nice, could use a bunch of speedbooks on my ssin^^

gotta agree with u on that one, seen people selling/buying kathy hammers for up to 8k....but just filling any HM book would definatly be a smarter and faster way to max survivor. as for me im going to do a few runs on my ele in UW that should be easy enough to max it.

but back to prices minor vigor runes have jumped up in price too as not many people want to pay for the major or the sup for their hero. hopefully the update should push the favour up again to the world after anet stole it too.
Ectos took a dive just after the update as i know a lot of my guildies ended up just selling to the trader just to get the runes they were desperate for for their heros.

Nice Rise in the need for alcohol as well, and love that they took the grind away from the 2 titles i was working on.

Prices in Pre have also taken a rise. black dye has gone up now more people are deciding to stay in pre and have black armour. and sold some weapons that werent char modded for more than i have previously sold charslaying mods for. so all is good atm i think

alch is up but will fall back down in ~2weeks when the have the lucky week(end). Wont be this coming week, but should be the one after and they'll be plenty of shamrock ales.

Runes I'd imagine will stay high for a while until people start slaving them off stuff again. Scrolls too.
