Was just wondering if anyone has considered rare(ish) core skins that should be uninsc. that have been obtained from the z-chest as inscriptable.

For example, and for sentimantal value only, I keep hold of a r9 insc. shining maul....

Go run HM, and you WILL get 11-21 q8 purple staffs. I've gotten tons of em.

Go run NM and you WILL get q8/12 foci and q8/16 shields. I haven't gotten any golds, but I HAVE gotten purples.

I remember years ago we had a thread asking if there were inscribable shields that were Q3 and below with armor 9 or above. The advantage would be that you could run 12/12/3 attributes and gain more armor than a normal shield that would only give you 8 armor.

The consensus was that those shields did not exist. Later on I found a Q3 shield with 9 armor (blue insc). I sold it for quite a bit of money btw...

Recently I found a Q3 Crude Shield with 11 armor rating. This is definitely the rarest item I have ever found in game. I have found maybe a dozen Q8/16 shields over the years.

And the Crude skin is one of my favorites.

it really just gets impossible to figure out what people think are worth something nowadays. Who knows how many of these things have just been merched.

The Water Crude Shield was a drop I got in HM Divinity Coast mission about a week ago (from one of the Mergoyles up by the fountain where you have to wash your feet,) so yes they can still drop.

Yup. they still drop. This one dropped for me a few days ago during a MQSC run and im still trying to get a PC on it in my PC thread;
