Favorite Items to Trade
Hey guys, I'm new to the power trading community, and I thought this thread could be helpful to both past and future power traders. So my question is: What are YOUR favorite items to buy and resell? Please also include buy/sell prices. Also try to be specific, don't just post "tonics." or "minis."
Input is much appreciated, tips of the trade welcome too.

I don't powertrade... I hate powertraders when it comes to consets or stuff like that... They annoy the crap out of me, because they buy ecto at like 250g more than buying price of the mat trader, or try to ask 9,5k/conset or retarded shit like that..
I do however approve of buying a high end weapon from an unsuspecting person that doesn't know the price and is happy with the 30k you give him, and doesn't know that you'll sell it for 300e afterwards... Ignorance is bliss...
Though, I still don't powertrade. Only thing I once powertraded was a q7 +12e Healing Ankh I bought for 1 armbrace (25e at the time) and sold for 150e. So guess that's my favorite^^

cheap "High End" inscr garbage.
Compasses, Frogs etc.
People don't know prices very well for them, easy to buy/sell.
In terms of buying for keeps, Fire Staves/Wands/Foci.

that´s it - I completely agree! I´d just add wands (uninsc ofc) and q9. If doing this u can just keep the best stuff and fill some collections, the other stuff can mostly be Sold with profit :-)

I don't. If that 30k made them happy imagine how happy 300e would make them. But that's just me using my third world non-capitalist approach to life.
In reply to OP - I don't powertrade. I play the game for fun, not in pursuit some virtual wealth. Never saw the point in wasting time obsessing about current and projected prices when there is lore to read, areas to explore, monsters to kill, noobs to help and 'tards to troll.

First, some attention to the negative posts... I'm not a power trader, I'm actually working on my last 3 titles for Gwamm (party/drunk/survivor) and I've picked up powertrading to help ease the process of paying for all that booze.
Secondly, I have found that Voltaic Spears are quite fun to trade. I got one of the the zchest yesterday as i was achieving r3 zaishen. I sold a r12 for 35 ecto and decided to buy another and try to resell. No luck as of yet, but patience is virtue.

Not gonna include buy/sell prices because i dont see the point , everyone selling and buying for as much as they think its ''right''
That being said , i usually stay out of trading old school items because most of the times i dont know the prices to be honest .
What i do like to trade tho :
-Minis [Cept 1,2,3,4,5 year ]
-Insc weps [Ppl like to get those to look pr0 and kewl so why not satisfy them?]
-Sweets/Alcohol/Party Points [Always in stack otherwise the profit is too little ]
-Tonics , me thinks that only few of them nowayds are worth buying/selling
Thast bout it => little of everything xD if you trade only with specific items it'll be harder to powertrade.

Had to edit the post because i wanted to say i agree with wilderness on what he said , more trades = more profit even if its for small profit

When I trade, I grind lots and lots of low end stuff very quickly for 1-2k profit here and there while I wait for buyers to bite on the high-end stuff.
If I see an Elite Rit Tome going for 10k, I'll grab it and sell it for 12k.
Some traders say this is pointless, but the platinum builds up quite quickly and takes very little effort (see a wts - grab it, see a wtb - sell it!).
High end stuff like EL Kunnavang and Destroyer for 10e profit here and there, and every now and then I'll take a gamble on an OS item (made 50e on a broadsword q8 15^50 recently).
Really, though, I don't have a standard way of doing things or standard items I aim for, I just keep an eye out on the values of things and grab something when I know I can sell it on with relative ease.

agreed with wilderness atleast when i first started out anything that can make a couple platinum profit it was worth buying, but nowadays time is running out so items that won't make more then 20-50k+ profit i normally wouldn't bother.
