I've had the same experience with Jade and Amber Staffs. There seem to be a lot of 20/10s around, and even the 20/20s don't seem to fetch more than "core" skin 20/20s ... often less.

I suspect it's because Pleikki and animal fighter oversupply the market opening Kurzick and Luxon chests looking for shields or cookies or something.

Granted the rarity we perceive of each could be a bit biased based on the skins. I know there are a few Jade/Amber fans out there, but there don't seem to be as many as a lot of the other Cantha-only skins.

Cleav, thanks for the clarification earlier. I think I understand the goal now. Have you considered listing criteria in the OP at all? Some kind of statement explaining that we're talking about max gold items with "good" inherent mod like 20/10 or matched 20/19-20 for skins which can't be found with inscription slots?

jade staffs are WORTHLESS unless they are req 8 or 9 with 20/20, hardly sell past 5k, i tried selling a dozen of them which were req9-11 20/10 all sold less then 20k, if they were any where rare id would be rich

Well, I'm not sure if this list is meant as a PC. I have the impression Cleav is aiming for more of a rarity-based sort here. As we all probably know, rarity does not necessarily track with market value.

This is the only good forbidden staff that I ever found.

I found bunch of 20/20 jade staffs while chest running, but none of them sold very high.

i've had 3:1 drops of gold outcast staves vs. icicle staves...does that make icicle staves rarer than outcast staves? Granted, the four gold outcast staves currently in my sin's inventory are dual-modded such as q9 illusion with 20%hsr and 19%hct spawning, but still.

not rly...
maybe there are more outcast staves than icicles... BUT:

from outcast staves maybe 1 of 10 has a good inherent mod....
from outcast staves maybe 1 of 10 has a good req....
icicle staves are all inscribable which means u can mod em however and as good as u want....

thats why good outcast staves are worth far more than those inscribable drops...

Plus if you want an Icicle Staff go do Frostmaws and your pretty much guaranteed to see at least 1 person in your party get 1.

Hey so i was just wondering about the rarity of a Old-school Canthan Evil Eye Staff. i seen that Luny mentioned it on page 1 of this thread, but i don't see any info other than that simple mention of it. just had a pretty good one drop for me and i have no idea bout it.
