Carnage, just an extra idea I had yesterday before falling asleep. Since killing things doesn't yield as much gold drops as we would like, we could also occasionally do like 6-8 person chest runs as well. Maybe we get some cool stuff out of that. I know a lot of us are really experienced chest runners and we know a few cool ones, and who knows what we get. I would think doing some Tyria chest runs as well because afaik, Spartan Mercenary is one of the few people that does those on a regular basis. Who knows what kind of Summit Warlords or Magmas (if we run Hell's Precipice) we get from a couple runs. The only downside to the idea I have is that standing around a chest with 6-8 people is a pain in the ass and Anet should've fixed that chest opening thingy a long time ago.

Maybe start the run with a 10-15 second delay on every next player.

Then you have the problem of running. Running in a tight group is a lot more safe and secure than running in a long line. That's pretty much how record Deep and Urgoz were done. One tight ball that ran to the end. The strength of running in groups comes with the fact that you're a group so the damage is spread evenly. The downside to chestrunning in groups is the chest delay, which is honestly a freaking pain in the ass.

Hell's Precipice is indeed a good idea to run with a group, especially in HM. I try to take heroes as titanbait with me when I go, but they usually die around the second or third group.

Southern Shiverpeaks is also a nice place to run. If we need any decent chest runs, Spartan (Jan Breydel on guru) can surely show us a couple since he runs quite a few there. I think he runs Tasca's Demise a lot as well.

Areas I'm interested in running:
-Hell's Precipice
-Southern Shiverpeaks (Grenth's Footprint and Tasca's Demise mainly for Summit Warlords)
-Echovald Forest (Morostav Trail is a good one, some people like Melandru's Hope but I don't really)
-Silent Surf or Rhea's Crater for Outcast stuff and Jellyfish Wands.
-Halcyon Job chest runs: it's so incredibly easy, and with 8 people at a time, who knows how many Dragon Staffs we can pump out in an hour? Hell, we could even use a 105 monk to round up the assassins and nuke their asses, for drops, kill the boss so that the kurzicks spawn, who usually also bring a chest with them.
-Massive Vermin or Napui Quarter chest runs for Celestial stuff. And with Celestial stuff I mean Celestial Scepters. Those are so incredibly rare with good mods that it's actually saddening.
-Maybe even Pongmei valley. Either we do the quick Maatu Keep farm where we open 1-2 chests by just running north, hoping for Echovald stuff, or we do the entire run starting from Boreas for Bo Staffs (Am Fah) and Echovalds.
-Raisu Palace area for Iridescent Aegises, Forbidden Staffs etc. It's a hard(ish) chest run to solo, but with a group, it might be easier.

Any more ideas/input is welcome

I know Carnage is secretly interested in running Silent Surf for Outcast and Jellyfish stuff I can clock in 5chests/3mins there consistently depending on spawns. With WoC in there finished up, I get 5 chests most of the time, so that's nice.

Great idea! And I'm game for running any of those. I run them all on my own time anyways.. Particularly Hells, and if anyone needs to be shown how to do it... It's a really really easy run that is 3 chests per run. Tasca's is fun. Southern shiver anything is fun. I could get an account to Perdition rock just before RoF and we could try for the shining blade chest. Axes/Hammers/Shields that are very rare have always dropped from that chest. Anywhere in cantha imo is a fun time.

I'm 100% on board with some team chest runs
Everyone bring EE. It's the fix for crap chest opening time waste...

About chestruns.... Ice Caves Mission HM is pretty easy to chestrun aswell. Especially in a team... You can get 1-3 White Mantle Chests within ~3-5minutes. (+1-2 more chests if you run through complete mission in ~8minutes)....

Already got White Reaver / Ascalon Warhammer drops there. Pretty sure orrish earth staves could drop aswell.

Kk thinking of doing some stuff tonight. I'm a little busy early evening but later on I'll be free; the zm's today aren't worth doing compared to this stuff.

Definitely tomorrow, as well, for most of the evening.

PM me in game at Carnage Runner or Carnage Bones if you see me and want to do some killing.
