Default High-end Mini question?

This is addressed to all high-end mini traders and no one else. Moderators please move this to the appropriate forum if it does not belong here, but please do not close because I really want to know the honest answer.

Why do you all ALWAYS refused to respond with your b/o price when asked for it? Are you just teasing us with the intent to sell, never meaning to let go of your precious mini? Do you have separation anxiety issues?

I can understand playing this "game" on rare weapons or other similar items because prices vary or are hard to find. But once a rare mini is valued over 100e, we all know the damn price range of it. Do you really except us to say "I'll pay 1,750e for your Dhuum" when you say "Offer?" We didn't manage to save up this much wealth by being that stupid!! Please give us a little credit!!

I spent three days chasing the same damn rare from the same damn buyer before he FINALLY told me his b/o price so I could buy the damn thing. And before you think all this waiting cause me to overpay to stop the "game," you are wrong. I would have paid the same amount in the first minute as I did the 72nd hour!!

It seems so simple. You are selling something. You want xxx ecto or xxx arms for it. Simply tell the potential buyer your price. Either he likes it and buys or he doesn't. So simple, so easy, so time-saving!!

It's not like I have to "offer" at McDonalds to buy a RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing Big Mac. (love that filter!! ) I really don't get why you won't state your price.

Please explain what possible advantage it serves by not responding to a potential buyer. Please teach me the proper way to buy your damn mini so we can avoid all of this bull....

Thank you in advance for your wonderful advice!! OFFER!!

Or the person who you say "offer?" to gives you an offer better than the one you thought of.
Greed.

But the ones going "Noty" and then dont respond- WHY?

Yeah, I always wondered about that too. Why would the seller not shoot back a counter offer, seems odd to me. Maybe it's some sort of "Ego" thing? Spammin WTS Undedicated Panda/Oni/Etc with no real intent on selling, might be someone's way of jumping up & down saying "LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME!"

Or perhaps... because we thought that their amazing mini was worth less than they did, we are presumed NOOBS!

don't bother trading with people with no price in mind for their item.

This. When I'm trading, I always have a minimum price in mind I'd like for my item, and I like to think that whatever I ask is usually fair. Especially when dealing in trades <100k, because I don't give a shit about money anyway, and I very often sell junk for 10k lower than what it usually goes for, because 1. I don't like standing in kamadan and 2. I don't give a shit anyway. It annoys me especially then that some players ask twice the real price for something when I want to buy something. It pisses me off beyond belief how greedy some people can be, and we're talking 500g sometimes. Especially because I'm the one to cave 99,9% of the time, because I can't be bothered looking for another greedy retard that's trying to rip me off.

This is in general though, I don't deal in high-end mini's, because I think they're retarded and people paying for them need to find better stuff to spend money on.

Greed.
True, but I really don't mind feeding their greed to complete my collection. Ectos and arms mean nothing to me but are required for trade to fund the only collection I care about - my minis.

I know I overpaid for the last two I bought but did so willingly because I wanted to collect that particular mini today. These last few I have bought rarely come up for sale and it is very hard to find them. So when I finally see one after days of waiting, I will pay a small premium just to end the drama.

But then you usually have to talk to one of these high-end mini traders and for some reason they will not tell you thier price?!?! They have it up in a WTS post and then will not respond when you ask politely for their b/o price!!

I really don't get it unless it is some sick disease as mentioned previously. If it isn't that, then PLEASE teach us the proper steps to successfully buy the damn mini from you already.

I have the ecto, it is there for the taking!! Just name your price already!!

P.S: Thank you moderators for moving the thread to the correct forum instead of closing it!! You are da bomb!!!

I had to pull this quote from Kromp from an old thread, I thought it was applicable here.

If you are not ready to sell an item, do not tell others that you are selling.
Here is the thread you should read it:
