Default Old School Weapon Sets ~ What's your fave?

Got an OS weapon set that you love just that little bit more than the rest? Be proud & post here to show us how you roll.

EDIT: Kuba gave me this Magmas as a gift, when I first started to collect them. He is still to this day a massive inspiration to me, and other people who were lucky enough to meet him. That's why this set is super special.

For me, it's this set. Among other things, I guess there is something about Lava & Fire that just draws me in.

This one is for Kabong, it's my fave Hammer.

Proving that Female toons are just as strong as the Men.

Thought long and hard about this one. I was tempted to go with my Req 8 Dwarven/Magmas stance set, but my heart is with this set.

This thread is for ANY req OS weapon sets, not just the low reqs. It's about the sentimentality of the set, more than the rarity or cost.

Exactly. It's all about your favorites (EK was pretty clear about that!), not what costs the most. For example, some people consider the magmas shield I posted to be an a hunk of crap. I, however, love that thing. Until someone shows me a req 13 -2/45 stance magmas, that thing is the manliest shield in all of Guild Wars, hands down...and I am beefier for having lifted it.

Yep what everyone else said!

I have much more expensive & rare sets, but the set I posted reminds me of the good old days right after Factions got released and Fellblade + the green Exalted Aegis was the top notch that every warrior wanted to have Back then was when I enjoyed the game the most.

EDIT: Actually EK I was thinking of the time when Droknar's Forge & Ascalon international district was the place to be at

Nice pics guys

Ah yes, the days when the Fellblade & FDS were kings & the place to buy/sell was LA, those days were fun.

Tooburns, that pic of you owning that dragon is priceless.

Ha, totally forgot about those Acsalon days! Now I also remember the Drok's races, that was good clean fun. Droknars was always packed back then, these days however..... But yes, Stormbows were also a hot item.

I've been looking for an axe that is as old as the earth for a very long time.
I finally found the one I have been looking for.

This is my favourite weaponset because the axe and shield are old. Really old.

They are relics from a rich history which can never return so items like these are preserved forever and will live on in the collections of Teh Academy [PhD]

Lots of groovy purples showing up lately, I like a nice purple.

I've got plenty of other items I like just as much, but if I have to pic just one set I'd have to go with this since it's almost allways loaded up on my Ele. It's pretty solid for many builds, of course caster sets are often situational though so swaps are allways on hand.

For me it has to be these.

Knowing I'll never have a comparable companion for the Echovald makes me sad though.

I like my Tyrian Serpent, but since I have acquired the longsword (my favourite skin), this is now my favourite set. Longsword + Tall Shield = Pro = PhD

Inspirational. I wanted to keep this ball rolling, but couldn't decide which stance set I liked more, so I didn't.

Terrific, splendid and super.
That's how it's done.

I've always admired your taste, Captain.
