Then you can stop searching. There are no r8 BDS's, never have and never will exist. Closest you can get to r9 OS would be a BDS r9 that dropped without inscription slot (clean). This means you can't add any inscriptions and only add a prefix and a sufix. Would look like the first fake I posted, but then r9. If that doesn't suffice, you can better stop looking

Technically, no. As the bds can never be non-inscribable, you're looking for a clean or bugged bds. Clean. Or Bugged. Not OS. It's important to get this correct, or people won't know what you're looking for.

If you spend all day looking for a citrus fruit with orange skin, segments and pips, and call it a football, you're going to get lots of footballs offered to you, but no oranges.

Might seem picky, but it's just business sense to ask for an orange if you want an orange.

The only 'os' bds are those crappy missing a mod ones. They only exist in q9+. You can find a q9+ bds insc any day.

That covers every possible bds.

Sorry if it seems critical of you. Not trying to be mean if you are legitimately asking. It's just that we've all given you the answer many times. And to top it off, you're on an account that joined guru in the last 4 days. It's not unreasonable to think you're just trolling at this point.

ive just came back to the game after 3 years i never had a guru account back then bc i was too young to know wtf i was doing. i decided to make a guru account last night to ask a few questions and to advertise my running

. To expand on it - there not a single q8 inscribable skin staff in q8 Max damage. Not just bds. Q8 max inscribable swords and shields and focus exist. Q8 old school everything can basically exist. Not everything os comes insc and vice versa.

Anyways, I apologize for calling you out for trolling. But I stand by that it wasn't unreasonable to believe it could have been. I'm not always that cynical ^.^ . Just most of the time.

But yes, all the users here including myself have given you the correct answer to your question.

so here´s the point: BDS comes from Dungeon Endchests. Dungeon Endchests drop items of unid value 50-57g. in that range gold items can have requirements of 9-13. purple staves could have a requirement of 8 there, but no purples drop from Dungeon Endchests. So BDS=(only gold + 50-57g unid)=q9-13. There can happen drops that´d seem odd, but are totally regular such as 14-28 bows.
So for a "clean" BDS: Some call it "OS"/"oldschool" which is very much misleading as it doesn´t have anything to do with os items, yet the term is used in this context. Technically it is just an old insc-area drop. insc area items could (just like oldschool ones) drop without a modifier, that´d be an inscription and thus lacked the ability to carry an inscription. As this is similar to what can happen with os items and as oldschool is often used as a synonym for non inscribable the term "os BDS" (despite the fact it is technically wrong) got used. So try search for a clean BDS, uninsc BDS or bugged BDS (bugged because the algorithm got changed to prevent many from dropping, as ppl got aannoyed).
and for friends telling their friends do have a certain item: I have seen tons of claims of absurd items and when the said owner was online he was always "too bored", "too busy" to show or couldn´t find it. If we´d believe them there´d be some phenomenal items neither Guru has ever seen nor any of the known people on here have, who have been around for 10years+: q8 insc Scythes, even a reptilian scythe, q8 insc spears - for sure the guy had a voltaic spear even, and sure there are q8 insc daggers, q8 insc staves, q7 post-nerf staves (ofc with a matching 20/20 mod) etc. See it in trade window and it is legit otherwise consider it a hoax.
Someone who has to tell ppl they do have the most awesome item ever ingame would also boost their ego with showing it in case they really have it, otherwise they are just some poor ... who need attention.
