Due to the rarity of the item the price tag will be more than I have, this is a guarantee, all that I ask is that you could consider holding on to it for me to buy at a later time, this is an item I've been looking for for quite some time now.

Also, a r8 BDS cannot exist. It is not even a remote possibility from a glitch. The drop tables are coded from 9-13 on the end chest items.

That's what I keep hearing but I've got a mate whos been playing since beta, he himself has a Q9 os bds, and he says his friend has a Q8 os, I have yet to see the q8, but I see no reason for which he would lie about the matter. Problem is that his friend hasn't logged in in over 11 months now :/

I have also heard these rumours. But until it is shown ingame to a trusted guru, I'm afraid it will remain a unicorn.

Screenshots won't do- they can be altered. Has to be seen by a trusted guru who can then verify its existence.

I am sticking with the 'doesn't exist' opinion

Are you sure you are talking about a BDS in both cases and not an OS bone Staff... erm BS (!?!) ?
I can guarantee that not one r8 BDS with max stats (and probably no non-max r8 either) exists as the Dungeon Chests have always been hard coded to only drop r9-13. The same with any OS BDS, as the EotN drops have always been inscribable. There are a few bugged BDS staves out there without an inscription, but they are missing the inherent part where the inscription would be which makes a staff OS.

If you are talking about a regular bone staff (core skin), then there are loads OS and a few r8s do exist.

Afterthought..... If your friend has been playing since beta, I'll bet 10 gold it's a bone staff, not a bone DRAGON staff. The bone staff is as old as Prophecies, and some seriously sexy r8 versions are kept within our vaults at [PhD]. So sexy that they would make your eyes bleed. The BDS was introduced with the Eye of the North expansion.

Remember, there's a 10 gold wager on this, so make it count. I will accept a staggered payment plan at 3% interest if 10 gold is too much.

but I would have to agree with the gurus who have posted here. eye skins can not be OS and never could drop as req 8.

Aye, that's another possibility, but I think those are factions only? So couldn't hav been present at the beta release.... And now I think of it, do r8 dragon staves exist? R8 max damage staves were removed from the drop tables at the same time as the great pre/post-nerf nerf. (Autocorrect hates the phrase 'pre/post-nerf nerf'). Therefore any r8 max staff is pre-nerf.

Just demonstrating why a trusted guru should get to see a r8 BDS in game to change our opinions. Screenshots are worth nothing, I dare anyone to find something wrong with this BDS, except the obvious r8 part.

I dont think he has HAD it since beta...just that he has been playing that long (and seeing as the bds wasnt even drawn at beta time....)...so it is possible he is thinking of a different staff than a bds, the bone staff or the dragon staff both could be possible alternates to that, and I know that the dragon staff was hard to get for some time (though I got a horrible one myself just last month----even with my bad drop ratio!).
The dragon staff did come out during os so it is quite possible for a req8..and Pleikki says so so I will just agree with him
