I was wondering so due to the existence of Q8 Dead Sword(s) and Igneous Blade, which both are NF skins, same goes for a few Q8 EoTN items so.

Yes well Swords, shields and offhands only have dropped in q8 Insc or OS since 2007.

So even OS q8 axes no longer drop

I know non-max purple dwarvens exist (can still drop from first killroy chest), and I'm relatively sure gold could have from old keyless, but cannot confirm it.

Non max gold and purple crystallines exist. Since os dwarven axes dropped in the same places as os crystallines, they should exist too... Nothing wrong with that logic is there?

I'm 99% sure I owned a non max blue dwarven axe ages ago. I can't prove this to you, but I can give you my word I did and you can take it at whatever value you decide. I remember I was so excited to own one cause it was my favorite skin and all I could spend was 25k and I got a crappy blue non max one. But it made me happy.

Im 100% sure non max purp dwarven axes also drop

Yes.

Crystal desert is the place for such items. Always has been. Most of the no negs max and non-max came from the crystal desert (and a chest in the shiverpeaks)....

Do Req8 Max Noninscr Spiked Clubs exist? I doubt it but I'm not 100% sure...

I remember they were/are really rare as any req noninscr anyway and I was really proud to purchase a q9 15^50 like 2 or 3 years ago, but I've never seen a req8 max...

Ive never seen one either, but they do drop max normal mode too so techically it couldve been possible, but same as with q8 canthan hand axe etc never seen one eventho it couldve been possible drop

I know that Eir got a q8+5 canthan hand axe, also seen q8 15^50 before ;-)

Idols With knife skin gold os anyone know of any?

i just got curious today since i had white one drop at me from stone summit in northen shiverpeaks in normal mode. so got me curious if gold ones would drop from them too in HM like Gold Stone and wooden chakrams drop in ascalon HM ?

Dont think i ever seen one drop from foes before, allways though its weaponsmith/collector skin only.

Well atleast im gonna do some HM stone summit chesting sometime and see

I remember hearing yawgmoth or someone saying if someting drops blue/white from low lvl it means higher lvl source could drop same item gold like these offhands for example?

Is that even possible, the lowest I had was 5%.

Pleikki and I talked about this a bit but I'm wondering who else thought of or has actually consistently tried to get some items thought to be "prenerf" such as q8 magmas or q8 oni blades from low-level chests? (i.e. Magmas Shield from Krytan Chest or Maguuma Chest during Titan quests. Actually.. Do chests even spawn for those quests? I've never tried lol). I'm curious if the low-end chest would inherently lower the req of magmas or even make getting like 14/6 magmas possible. I know the foes characterize the loot but can the chest itself lower the requirement for it? If no one has really tested this, I'd like to form a group to try

I'm not sure that r8 magmas shields are pre-nerf. The ones dropping from hells precipice would be r9 and above because of the level of the baddies there, but they could in theory drop in some areas of the shiver peaks in normal mode I think? Asking, not asserting, because I'm not sure.

And r8 oni blades would be the same I presume in normal mode. Those can still drop too I think? This is why they never made it onto my 'truth about pre-nerf' thread...

Yes foes could drop both from those as far as i know. Just chests cant. except for possibly few quests etc and their chest spawns that master mix is talking about

I ran chests in NM for the titan run in Kryta, hoping to get an oddball r5 magmas. Nothing titan-related dropped for me in NM, not even an armor. I ran it quite a bit, and nothing. I'm not sure if the foes there are low enough lvl for r8s when killing them in NM. I did a lot of 55 n/mo there and never had a shield, though lots of armors fell.
