Again, possible. Maybe a few whites/blues around but I don't recall seeing them. A handful of 1 off max golds but I've never seen a max gold and there was talk about this 6 or 7 years ago amongst a few guys. Doubtful but technically possible in the kryta region.

Not that I'm aware of. I had a set that were one off but I've never seen a max damage q7 set of daggers. The drop table changes would make it fairly rare.

Saved this screenshot from GWOnline forums many years ago, source was unreliable (claiming to have it dropped after Nightfall release), it's the only time I've seen or heard of q7 max dmg daggers.

However because max gold insc q8 daggers are confirmed to exist (1 or 2 pairs) I believe there was an extremely thin chance q7 ones could have dropped in 2006.

seems like a really good photopshop, they made it believable by adding in a crap inherent to make it not sound too good to be true. just another fake till confirmed, even if it is there would have been multiple pairs of max req7 daggers.

Recently had a perfect([email protected] but technically perfect) OS purple shield drop, 16 armor, -2 Ench & 20% Weekness (SS below). This is the only possible type of perfect non-inscribable purple.

This brought to mind the possibility of a conceivable perfect r7 that might still drop today. Granted it would have to be purple, but can/do these types of perfect shields drop as r7s still? And if so would anyone consider them to be of any value? Just wondering.

Thoughts?

Thats a very interesting drop. Im afraid to say r7 cant drop anymore, not max at least. Your best hopes are r7 15AL.

Im still out trying to find a Gold oldschool Tribal Axe, although I have no idea where to look, and I cant find the picture of Chop Chop's one to confirm they even existed haha. Ive had a few ideas before, but they have never come through. Maybe ill try them again.

Well I'm pretty sure those never dropped regular... (just like Hatchet I think)
Only chance they could drop was during bugged Mausoleum Quest...
I know of one, but I think that one was customized...

So chances to find one are pretty bad i guess

If anyone got other informations feel free to correct me.

Thats what I thought. But a very long time ago there was a picture in circulation of a - I believe - 6-26 15^50 Gold one. As far as my memory serves me, it belonged to Chop Chop. I cannot for the life of me find the picture again. It was reportedly dropped in Magumma Jungle. So I have no idea. Just have to farm and hope I guess xD

I also agree this is likely a photoshop job. If q7 daggers dropped, we would have seen more than 1 pair since factions release. Generally q7's have much lower merchant values than this as well - another reason I would be tempted to say it's fake.

Yea, I'm with surge, my r7's that were one off (the gold set) were a 120 something gold value. That and there's no way something that leet would stay hidden this long.

So I was thinking about my dual reduction collection. They all come with -2/stance and one other mod, chosen at random from -2/ench, -3/hexed, -5(20%) or -2(10%) depending on when it dropped.

Has one ever been seen without a stance mod? Perhaps -2/ench -5(20%) or similar? It would have to be a bugged shield, one that dropped with a faulty mod on it....

That would be a thing of beauty.

@ Max - answer comes a bit late - but no, never seen one without a stance mod. pretty sure they all got a stance mod if dual red.

@ Magentis - they do EXIST but they DONT DROP anymore. (only tyrian btw... and i've only seen staves so far i think)

Yeah, the botters sold r7/15 GotHs all the time, but I have not seen a max r7 of the skins. Even a white/blue has evaded my notice.

I think I've had r7/15 blue gothics not 100% sure though. There are no blue ambers/echos right? Never had one at least. Only gold ambers and purple/gold echos.

late to the show here apparently but I will say without a doubt the r7 daggers are photoshopped.

R8 is the lowest you ill get max and 99% of the Guild Wars community has no idea how rare r8 Daggers are themselves. Daggers are the most underrated, undervalued weapons in the history of Guild Wars.

Those who don't know, I was the only one to ever have a complete r8 15^50 Dagger collection. I also had more than half in their 5 energy equivalent. Many skins there are only 1/2/3 known to exist.

Keeping on track about what exists or doesn't, I am curious to engage the Guru community as scavenger hunters to some extent.

I've talked with a few guild mates and friends lately about r8 Gothics, but the screen collections of others appear necessary to find any answers.

My question is if anyone has proof of an r8 Gothic Defender with any of the "popular" "perfect" stat combinations. I'll list the stats I have in mind below:

30/-2
30/-5
30/+10 (vs damage types, not animals...although I'd be interested to see those pics, too)
45s/2s
45e/2e

Does more than one (30/-2s) of these exist? Stories are fine, but I want pics. Also, any pics of r7s would be cool following up on the prior conversation here.
