Not possible. The only way you can get q8 max swords is from drops. I think you could maybe get one out of a Kournan chest in NM if the mob next to you is lvl 17-ish, but the chances of a max dmg q8 sword coming from that are so astronomically low...

uhm no.... gothic sword = canthan skin.
doesnt drop in nightfall nor does it drop inscribable at all....
no chance in getting a inscr gothic sword no matter what req.

for legendary sword (same skin) only drops from End Chests afaik which means req9+ only possible.

I know this part system, I have played this game before, I was talking about q8 max dmg inscr swords in general

Just Curious how exactly is that Possible? I thought Chaos Axes were Fissure of Woe, Zaishen chest, Sorrows Furnace and in Nightfall Doing that quest with the Drakes?

This is the first time I've ever seen a Chaos Axe pop out of a chest!

(I know this is probably the wrong place but somebody could give me an explanation

)

That's normal.

They also drop from chests in UW.

That's really Interesting.I was Quite surprised when i'd seen it drop(As you can see :P) I even checked the wiki and Nothing was mentioned about so i thought maybe a glitch. Well was nice to know.

It's a core skin. i.e. It can drop from keyless chests from SF, UW, and FoW. Along with Crystallines, Dwarven Axes, Serpent Axes, and a few other rare skins. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Pretty certain I owned an insc gothic sword, bought off another.
Wiki also states that it can drop from fow/UW/zaishen chest.

Q8 items drop best from foes Lvl17-22 and Lvl20 chests. Fellblades (and pretty much all the other core swords) can drop from Am Fah and Jade Brotherhood mobs/chests. The normal mode canthan chests are Lvl20. GL

Yeah I'm pretty sure there are inscribable gothic swords, but this would rule out the r8 insc one anyways right? I mean if they are from z-chest etc.

hoh chest did drop req8, but this was way before the hoh chest got an update, it was during the time when it spawned on altar.
