On the topic of 15/-1, I had a Forked Sword with said inherent (-1 energy regen) drop for me out of a locked chest somewhere in Kryta in early 2010. It was gold and max damage, perhaps req10 or 11. The current owner is Captain Krompdown, so any doubts should be deferred to him ^^

Its well knownt hat 15/-1 energy & health dmg mod weapons still do drop

I think this was possible at one time just I don't recall ever seeing one.
In that brief period when you could get a dual reduction shield with -2 stance -5(20%) as I know todeshand and a few others have that combo was it possible to get a -3 hexed -5(20%)?

I have been thinking and searching screenshots and I don't think I ever saw one.

I always found this post of Yawg's seemed the best reasonable explanation for what could have happened and what can still happen.

This staff was sold like 5 times in past year.. and last seller (am not 100% sure if it was that guy) tried to sell it for few months.
I have exactly same staff.. req8 Resto, 10/10 and such..

Between two accounts, and 16 characters, I've racked up more XP than I care to elaborate on, (mainly because it is embarrassing). However, the vast majority of that XP has been solo runs, chest runs, FoW/UW farms, etc... I have ID'd almost 13,000 gold items on one account and half of that on another. That's not counting purple ID's....

Not once have I seen any one of these three wraps. As far as I'm concerned WiKi is absolutely wrong on that matter. I don't think it's a matter of rarity or drop rate, as I've gotten all of the others numerous times. I simply think they do not exist.

You're right, they don't exist and were never a possible drop.
Note that these 3 attributes also never appear on inherent HCT, HSR or +1(xx%) mods (on randomly generated items).

Its the level of the mobs that matter for q8 drops. Sadly q7 max stuff doesn't drop anymore and only max q8 swords, shields and foci drop now but the right q7 tac, 15 armor shield can fetch a pretty penny. I think level 23 is the cut off point but it could be 22.

Same goes for chests. Chests are influenced by the mobs surrounding them from skin to level. A chest surrounded by level 20 afflicted may drop a max gold q8 plagueborn shield, sword or focus.

cut off for req8 is 24 for chests

ok, just to clarify this info about r8 drops,

For them to drop enemys have to be lvl23 for it to be max and also for a chest to drop one the enemys surrounding the chest have to be lvl23 aswell,

Is that correct?

So for example Minister Cho's in HM (all enemys are lvl 23 except the 2 boss like foes) would be a good place to farm for one?

Or do the enemys have to be lvl23 in NM?

For monsters in HM, Q8 weapons can drop as blue/purple. In NM, can drop as gold best from foes below Lvl 24.

For chests, don't bother in HM. In NM, Q8 golds drop from Lvl 20 chests like the Kaineng City ones.

So, max gold Q8's can't drop in HM Cho's unfortunately.
