Maybe there are runic blades that dropped in mausoleum or will drop in mausoleum next halloween...

Are there any 7-35 damage scythes, besides the bugged ones? does 7-35 still drop for other scythes?
are there any q13 non-maxdmg weapons besides the q13 bugged scythes??

This is slightly off topic but, do swamp clubs, dwarven hammers and krytan axes (not from killroy type reward chests) still drop anywhere non insc?

There is much discussion around Swamp Clubs, some say they do, other say they don't, but since there hasn't been a confirmed drop since 2006? 2005? I assume they were removed. I think Dwarven Hammers have been confirmed to be removed, and Krytan Axes, I don't know enough about to give a conclusive answer.

As far as I know scythes normally can't drop with 7-35, the closest you can get is 8-35. So yes, those bugged ones are rare, sadly almost all were merched.

And for Q13 nonmax - normally weapons need near the highest itemlevel to be able to spawn with req.13 at all, so:

-we don't see q13 whites/blues (or they're extremelly rare and nobody cared to notice the very few that did drop, but I think there's a pretty good chance they're just not possible)

-the most obvious and very common example of nonmax Q13 are purple staves - but they're an exception to a lot of rules.

-now there are the 3 weapon types that happen to sometimes drop nonmax from max level sources (even z-chest and dungeon endchests):
14-28 bows
18-35 hammers
7-16 daggers
All those CAN drop with req.13

But it's not everything. I think other weapons can also drop nonmax with req.13. I have found one record of such a drop in my data collected for some research - it was a 14-27 purple insc bow from a level 22 in hard mode.

I estimate they should be more rare occurence than a 16/q8 gold or purple shield but less rare than 15-22/q8 gold or purple sword. If that's indeed their actual rarity then I don't think they (for example a 15-21 q13 sword) would make a worthwhile collectible.

I'm 100% I've seen screenshots of Swamp Clubs dropping in Hell's Precipice (though they were from 2005), and I'm 80% sure I saw them on GWO when it was still around. Their new site is transitioning to a new server so I'm not quite sure I'll be able to find the screenshot again. However, if I can I'll post the only pic of one dropping I've ever seen.

Are you absolutely sure about that? I was talking to someone the other day about possible mod combos on uninsc staves, and she pointed out that profession-specific weapons seem to drop only with HCT mods from that profession. ie: an Earth Staff might drop with a 20% Fire HCT mod, but not with 20% HCT Domination.

The ones with weird mixed profession combos seem to be the ones that are possible drops for different professions (ie: Celestial staves and wands, Platinum staves and wands, Jades, Ambers, etc etc).

I hadn't thought of it before, but I was thinking that she might be right. Granted, I've never really paid attention to the mods on merch fodder gear, but it seems plausible.

You do have a very good point. Well, ima be on the lookout from now on^^ Cause I just merched a channeling staff 20/19 spawning, so this could very well be.. I'm gonna look into this^^

.. you cant get earth staff with 20hct protection.. in proph/Fact staves the HCT only comes for possible professins staff can drop (idk if that made any sense)

Like Fire staff can only have HCT mods to eles..

But universal attritube staves like Raven staff, Shadow staff, Bo Staff etcetc, May have HCT mods for all professions the skin is dropping for..

Thats one reason why 20/20 Bo staffs etc are way rarer then example 20/20 fire staff.

You would need to find one from 2005, back then even the skins with a fixed req attribute could have their inherent mods come from any profession. But you'd need to find one with matching both HCT and HSR mods, which had near impossible chance to drop, even more so on such a rare skin (then).

I actually have a r8 Blood Ghostly staff with 20% Halves Skill Recharge and 20% Halves Casting Time both in Restoration. Not sure how much that adds to this though

Nothing cus Ghosly staff can have hct resto even now..

I was recently going through my storage because i decided to come back after a break of a few years and i found an interesting item. On Guild Wars Wiki it stated that there was a long sword with the crystalline skin that you could get, i believe the damage was 5-7, however, in addition to that sword i also have another Fiery Long Sword thats 6-9 damage [i believe, i dont remember the exact, but it was slightly higher] with a crystalline sword skin as well. I tried to look it up on the wiki but i didn't find anything, is this potentially a 1 of a kind item or something special, or did my research skills fail me and it is merely merch material and common?

Well thats the question im asking, is there 2 quests which give you a crystalline sword skinned longsword, because i have 2 that are different damage and mods...from what i could find on wiki there is only one quest that gives you a 5-7 damage one, but i also have a 6-9 damage one and i cant find any quest or anythign in presearing that gives it to you, so unless im mistaken then i have no idea where it would have came from

I edited the portal wraith page on the official wiki to see if people would start farming Hell's Precipice in hopes one would drop and we would finally have proof they still do. After many attempts at changing the page I finally got the ban hammer from an admin for putting up false info even though I said "they are rumored to drop". I'm pretty sure they don't drop anymore. ^^
